Chair, Vaughan Public Library Board Welcome to the September – October issue of What’s On! With the changing seasons, many of us are adjusting to a new schedule as Summer winds down and cooler weather arrives. Fortunately, our libraries can help you move between the seasons. School is back in session, and those with children can access a range of educational resources to help them with their studies, including online tutoring via Brainfuse, and you can fnd more information on our website. In the kitchen, summer salads may be giving way to comfort food, so one of our culinary literacy classes at the new VMC Library may be of interest to you. Finally, if you want to enjoy the great outdoors our nature backpacks can provide you with some family fun.

In September and October you will see a number of exciting programs at VPL including opportunities to increase your online presence with Build your Brand, and then cut a fgure in the workplace by attending Stand up With Style. We’ll also be launching the Living Library, where you can discover the experiences of a wide range of interesting people. Finally, for our youngest customers, we have a Paw Patrol Party at Pleasant Ridge Library. With so many exciting things going on, we hope you make Vaughan Public Libraries part of your routine this season.

Best, Rose VMC EXPRESS
