BILLINGE FOOTBALL CLUB has several sponsorship opportunities available for the 2018-19 season and there has never been a better time to show your support for The Storks. An exciting season beckons as the club looks to improve on our 5th place position in the Cheshire League Premier Division while our new Under-21s development squad is also launching. We have packages to suit every business looking to back one of Merseyside/Cheshire’s best Step 7 football clubs. Whether you are looking for the naming rights of the ground and pitch, your logo to appear on our kit and training wear, pitch side advertising boards, advertising in the club’s official programme or matchday sponsorship, there is a package ready just for you for the season ahead.
WHAT BENEFITS DO YOU GET FROM SPONSORING BILLINGE FOOTBALL CLUB? Billinge FC is a team on the up. After winning promotion back to the Cheshire Premier League last season by winning League One, we went on to have a solid fifth place finish. A great achievement considering two of the teams above us had budgets to pay players and after a poor start we made. We also went on to lift our second trophy in two years by lifting the Guardian Cup. Lifting cups is a tradition we intend to keep going at Billinge FC. Our reserve side had a tricky year but by the end of the season was a much stronger unit. The reserves have also been strong in the cups in the last few years, winning a cup in four of the last six seasons. With seven players from the reserves playing some part in the first team throughout the year, we are a club that really tries to progress lads at every opportunity. This coming season we will also be starting our U21 Development squad. We have done this to bridge the gap from junior football within the community, to the senior sides. The U21s will play in the North West Under-21 Development League and it is a really exciting time for us all at the club. The club also has ambitions to join the North West Counties Football League in the very near future and with your help this could be possible. The football club regularly features in the media on a local level through the St. Helens Star, Wigan Observer & Wigan Evening Post and our official club photographer documents all our matches that are shared via our social media channels. From this our sponsors will benefit from exposure to the large audience which visits our official website, Twitter and Facebook. The club’s official website had season figures of over 18,000 pages views and over 8,000 unique visits. We have just under 2,000 followers on Twitter with a single post making up to 5,000 impressions. SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES Details of our specific packages are listed below. All sponsors of the club will have their logos/names added to our official website with a link to your company website provided when visitors click on the logo/name. Once your package has been confirmed your sponsorship of the club will also be mentioned across our social media channels and also in our matchday programme. Further use of our website and social media channels for your company’s messages throughout the season is available – please talk to us about your requirements. NAMING RIGHTS TO PITCH AND GROUND, LOGOS ON KIT AND TEAM WEAR Our pitch and ground is known as Barrows Farm but there is the opportunity for it to be named after your company – that name is then used by the football authorities, the media, supporters and visitors whenever they refer to the ground. There are also opportunities for your company name and logo to appear on our kits and training wear – so whenever the players are out on the pitch, training, travelling to matches or attending club events, your company’s support will always be on display and associated with the club. For both packages, pitchside advertising boards, programme advertising and other branding opportunities can be agreed as part of the package. Please get in contact with us to discuss these sponsorship opportunities in more detail. Price on application. PITCH SIDE ADVERTISING BOARDS Your support for the club will always be on display during matches and other events at the Barrows Farm stadium. It will be seen by supporters who attend matches, visitors to the stadium site attending other events and the potential to be seen by a wider audience via pictures taken by the club’s media team. The boards measure 8ft x 2ft and the design will be completed and produced to your specifications. Cost per board is £180 for one season or £300 for two seasons (saving of £60 if you commit to two seasons at time of order). There are other parts of the site which can carry your company logo and message – these include the dugouts, changing rooms and Sports Centre. Please speak to us about these opportunities. OFFICIAL MATCHDAY PROGRAMME ADVERTISING A programme is published in print and online for every first team home game, providing another opportunity to connect with the club’s followers at the ground and thousands of football fans nationwide who view the programmes online. Advertisement rates for the season are as follows: Full-page advertisement (A5 size): £50 Half-page advertisement: £30 Quarter-page advertisement: £20

MATCHDAY SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES A chance to put your company in the spotlight on a matchday, while also getting a behind the scenes look at what happens when the first team is in action. You can be our main match sponsor for the day for £100. You and three guests will be given entry to the game and access to the bar before kick-off. This will include hot and cold drinks. Before the match you will get the chance to visit the home dressing room and meet the manager and players, and after the game you will name the man of the match and have your photograph taken with the player, which will appear online and in a future matchday programme. After the game you and your three guests will also receive a complementary drink and food from the bar. Your company name will appear in the programme all season and in the programme for the game you are sponsoring, your logo will appear prominently in that edition, with mentions on our website and social media channels. There is also a match ball sponsorship package available for £50. You and one guest will be given entry to the game and access to the bar before kick-off. This will include hot and cold drinks. Before the match you will get the chance to visit the home dressing room and meet the manager and players, and after the game you will receive a complementary drink for you and your guest from the bar. Your company name will appear in the programme all season and in the programme for the game you are sponsoring, your logo will appear prominently in that edition, with mentions on our website and social media channels. To reiterate, the main match sponsorship package costs £100 with the match ball sponsorship package costing £50. PLAYER SPONSORSHIP There is an opportunity to show your support for the players at the club by sponsoring one (or more) of them for the season. In return your company name will be featured in every matchday programme published during the season and you will also benefit from your company logo/name appearing next to the player sponsored on our website, with a click through link provided to your website when people click on the logo/name. Your sponsorship will also be announced on our website and via our social media channels, with opportunities to further promote your business via the website/social media throughout the season. Player sponsorship costs £40.
