On the other side, Mundus is implementing international projects at local level with the main aim of motivate the local community to be more open and inclusive towards foreign people. MUNDUS bases its work in creating a virtuous circle among youngsters involved in its projects. We usually involve local youngsters thanks to our cooperation with local high schools and with local foundations that are working with youngsters under the tuition of the Catalan government due to their special risky situations connected with their families. Thanks to it, we have often the chance to work with youngsters both with and without fewer opportunities. We involve them in local small projects with the objective of motivate them to go abroad for a YE or TC. The next step is usually to go for an EVS or a VET traineeship abroad. Once youngsters start feeling a sense of belonging to Mundus and the local community of Santa Coloma, that is the moment in which they can make the further step and become local active volunteers that are able to organize local/international projects by themselves. Erasmus+ offers the chance to youngsters with (and without) fewer opportunities to overcome fears, prove themselves and become entrepreneurs of their destiny. And that is the base of Mundus’ work.

While one group is saying theirs, the others remain listening. When all the groups will finish, the facilitator dialogues with the participants to cross out those concerns that can be solved easily. Once just a few concerns are left, the facilitator assigns one concern per group. Thus, each group has to play a short silent scene in which they represent the concern, but also to show a way of how that problem can be solved, so the other groups can guess which concern it is. The facilitator can also assign a specific method to each group, such as just using their feet, using shadows on the wall, etc. The facilitator crosses out the concerns from the flipchart/blackboard until all of them are discussed.
