Fordismo e Toyotismo, imparare dal passato per combattere la crisi di oggi

Alla base del Toyota Production System (TPS), detto anche “Toyotismo”, si trova l’idea di “fare di più con meno”, cioè di utilizzare le (poche) risorse disponibili nel modo più produttivo possibile. Nell’immediato dopoguerra Toyota versava in gravi condizioni a causa della mancanza di risorse come, peraltro, gran parte dell’industria del Giappone, uscito sconfitto e stremato da un conflitto nucleare. Trovare nuovi metodi per competere con il Fordismo statunitense divenne, quindi, un’esigenza imprescindibile.

Il 2021 è stato l’anno della ripresa dopo l’interruzione totale a causa della pandemia, ma è anche l’anno che tutti ci ricorderemo per la difficoltà nel reperire le materie prime. Abituati da sistemi basati sul consumismo, dove gli ordini online vengono consegnati in poche ore, ci siamo dovuti confrontare con una nuova realtà: la carenza. La storia sembra volersi ripetere e quelle che erano necessità dopo una guerra mondiale si ripresentano oggi come necessità a seguito di un nuovo conflitto mondiale combattuto, questa volta, con le armi dell’economia. Riacetech già da anni ha attuato un profondo percorso di mutazione, integrando i concetti del TPS, che prevedono sistemi di produzione snella (Lean Production) e rivalutazione della figura dell’operaio, non più come mero esecutore di ordini ma come figura all’interno dell’impresa, con la possibilità anche di intervenire sulla produzione stessa e modificarne l’andamento. Si è così fatta trovare pronta alla nuova sfida applicando quelle metodologie innovative e flessibili che l’hanno sempre distinta dalla concorrenza.

Nell’anno della pandemia, quando non era possibile produrre, ha potuto utilizzare i solidi capitali accantonati lavorando a ritmi serrati per preparare e collaudare i nuovi strumenti produttivi e per anticipare la prevedibile carenza delle materie prime riempiendo i propri magazzini. Questo ha permesso di soddisfare ininterrottamente fino ad oggi le richieste dei propri clienti. La nuova sfida sarà quella di rimanere concentrati sulle reali necessità dei nostri clienti, evitando inutili autocelebratismi, ritenendo che il valore aggiunto dei nostri prodotti è solo quello che i nostri clienti percepiscono, il resto è spreco o muda come insegna il Toyotismo.

Fordism and Toyotism, learning from the past to combat today’s crisis

At the heart of the Toyota Production System (TPS), also known as “Toyotism”, is the idea of ‘doing more with less’, i.e. using the (few) resources available as productively as possible. In the immediate post-war period, Toyota was in critical conditions due to a lack of resources, as was much of the industry in Japan, which had been defeated and exhausted by a nuclear war. Finding new ways to compete with American Fordism became an absolute necessity.

2021 was the year of recovery after the total interruption due to the pandemic, but it is also the year we will all remember for the difficulty in finding raw materials. Used to systems based on consumerism, where online orders are delivered within hours, we were confronted with a new reality: shortages. History seems to be repeating itself, and what was a necessity after a world war is now a necessity following a new world conflict fought, this time, with the weapons of economics. For years now, Riacetech has been undergoing a profound process of change, integrating the concepts of the TPS, which envisage lean production systems and a re-evaluation of the figure of the worker, no longer as a mere executor of orders but as a figure within the company, with the possibility of intervening in production itself and modifying its progress. The company was thus ready for the new challenge, applying the innovative and flexible methods that have always distinguished it from its competitors.

In the year of the pandemic, when it was not possible to produce, it was able to use the solid capital set aside by working at a fast pace to prepare and test the new production tools and to anticipate the foreseeable shortage of raw materials by filling its warehouses. This has enabled the company to meet its customers’ demands uninterruptedly until now. The new challenge will be to remain focused on the real needs of our customers, avoiding unnecessary selfcelebration, believing that the added value of our products is only what our customers perceive, the rest is waste or muda as Toyotism teaches.

Mono Intuitive

Mono Intuitive: Gestito tramite un PC Industriale 10.1″ con sistema Android, App appositamente sviluppate che permettono di salvare ricette con foto, gestire e controllare gli ordini di produzione. Grazie alla possibilità di connettersi da remoto si configura compatibile all’industria 4.0. Nasce equipaggiato con un serbatoio di fusione trasparente costantemente sottovuoto, pinza autocentrante ed un lettore RFID.

Mono Intuitive: Managed via a 10.1″ Industrial PC with Android system, specially developed Apps that allow you to save recipes with photos, manage and control production orders. Thanks to the ability to connect remotely, it is compatible with Industry 4.0. It is equipped with a transparent melting tank that is constantly under vacuum, auto centering clamp and an RFID reader.

Mono Maxi Endura

Mono Maxi Endura: Progettato per la produzione di pezzi di grandi dimensioni è configurato con una siringa di iniezione da 120cmc con regolazione finale della temperatura e pinza autocentrante con piattelli fino 330x180mm. Disponibile anche la versione Intuitive con PC Industriale. Nasce equipaggiato con un serbatoio di fusione trasparente costantemente sottovuoto, pinza autocentrante ed un lettore RFID.

Mono Maxi Endura: Designed for the production of large parts it is configured with a 120-cmc injection syringe with final temperature regulation and a selfcentering clamp with plates up to 330x180mm plates. Intuitive version with Industrial PC also available. It is equipped with a transparent melting tank that is constantly under vacuum, auto centering clamp and an RFID reader.

Automatic Belt

Automatic Belt: Iniettore totalmente automatico, propone i tratti caratterizzanti degli iniettori RiaceWax, come la pinza autocentrante e il serbaotoio di fusione trasparente. Si completa con con un raffreddatore per stampi integrato è gestito tramite un PC Industriale da 10”.

Automatic Belt: A fully automatic injector, it offers the characteristic features of RiaceWax injectors, such as the autocentering clamp and the transparent melting tank. It comes complete with an integrated mould cooler and is managed via a 10” Industrial PC.
