Matrix Mobile Bars is a Gauteng based on-site bar service company. My involvement in this project was at a freelance capacity. I was hired to present the client with three possible branding look ‘n feels. These are the three that were presented to the client.
M I N X Y S C U T S A L O N
Minxys Cut is a Randburg, GP based hair salon. They approached me mid 2015 to handle their re-branding. The client was presented with three possible look ‘n feels, and a fourth which as a variation of one of the original three. These are the four that were presented to the client.

The e-wellness project was one of the first accounts I was put on as a freelancer for Studio Silver. Although the e-wellness scheme never reached launch. These are the three of the options I delivered to Studio Silver.
V A L H A L L A H U N T I N G L O D G E
For the collection of my most recent interactions with Studio Silver. I was put on the Valhalla re-branding account. The style sheet on the left is of the offical new logo. Studio Silver were presented with three posible look ‘n feels The logo icon itself is a mashup of all the letters in the word “valhalla”. I opted for more of a steel look which work well with the steel features at the actual lodge. The logo iis also meant to represent a gate. Bringing in those viking mythical elements, “the gates of valhalla”.

For the collection of my most recent interactions with Studio Silver. I was put on the Mary Jane Salon re-branding account. The style sheet on the left is of the offical new logo. Studio Silver were presented with three posible look ‘n feels. Mary Jane Salon is a male owned back yard company. During our briefing discussion the client was really keen on brining in those “homey”, nature element. So I opted for a signature type logo. Something that felt a little more personal, and brought in a feminine touch.

Studio Silver were presented with three posible look ‘n feels. Sensual Bliss - now recently closed -, was a sensual massage spa in Waterkloof, Pretoria. Due to the nature of the services the establishment provided the client had asked for something a little more “cliche” and derivative, yet not tacky and cheap.
B E N A A L E X P R O J E C T The Bena Project is a collaboration of four Greenside Design Center, alumni designers. The ethos behind the project is to empower local township businesses with the same brand aesthetic as their super competitors at no cost. At the moment we are busy with the bena alex project. Where we have selected 150 local owned businesses in the township of Alexandra, Gauteng. And for the past 10 months have been working away at re-branding each of them. The samples on the left are of three of the busniesses I was tasked with re-branding.

V O K A N D I Vokandi is a South African owned flavoured vodka line. I was approached via their social media manager to help with conceptualization and production of social media marketing collateral. Each month I would be sent a post schedule, and from that point on it was my job create the visuals. Either I would get a direct brief i.e. vokandi post for half price jugs. Or there would be days were they simply needed product posts, that would accompany the days proposed copy. Please see next page for more samples.
T R A P P E R S O U T D O O R E S S E N T I A L S Trappers Outdoor Essentials is a nation wide outdoor gear store. With competitors such as Cape Union Mart, and Due South. I was approached by their digital marketing manager to produce the visuals for his campaigns. We mostly did product marketing, so I would be told which product I was producing posts for i.e. Garmin VIRB. Along with that I would be given copy that was to feature on the posts. So there be visuals for one product that were mirrored on facebook, twitter, the Trappers main site (in the form of a header banner), and the Trappers blog.
During the past couple of months I have absorbed a little more responsibility at Studio Silver. I have provided them with a little guidance in terms of their digital presence and marketing. As well as advised on a more modern brand aesthetic. Below is a very basic facebook cover I designed as part of a proposal. This has now become their current facebook cover. And on the next page there a four post type looks I presented to them. Encouraging them to expand their online engagement.
