13 Caring For Our Communities MIC has been in the forefront of leading community initiatives and The Global Community Service Day is dedicated to making that spirit soar. The celebration lasts for three days and McAfee observes almost a global shut down for social cause. Such is the focus on Community Service! Corporate social responsibility is at the core of McAfee and through various initiatives, McAfee empowers local communities in India as well. Through this collaborative approach, McAfee’s goal is to overcome the greatest challenge of the digital age - making the connected world more secure. This ranges from educating hundreds and thousands of kids across different states in India and millions of rural and semi urban communities on how to stay safe online. Community activities see a high participation from the McAfee India employees demonstrating their commitment to society and nature.

McAfee Explorers
McAfee Explorers is an on-demand job shadowing and career guidance program for children of McAfee employees and soon, the community. It’s designed to inspire and educate the next generation through role modeling and hands-on practical experience. Together, we'll help children realize that, no matter their gender or background, they can boldly pursue an incredible cybersecruity career.
McAfee Online Safety Program for Kids
The internet is a powerful tool. With billions of families worldwide connecting to the internet daily, its easy to grow comfortable in our day-to-day online activities, forgetting just how vulnerable we all are to cyber adversaries. At McAfee, we know all too well the dangers that lie on the web, especially for children, which is why we started the McAfee Online Safety Program for Kids. This program calls McAfee employees around the world, to go out into their local communities and educate youth at every age on safe internet practices. Covering everything form cybersecurity, cyber bullying, and social media, we believe it is our duty to do everything we can to build a safer more secure world
Joy of Giving
McAfee’s annual Season of Giving is underway, with a goal of raising $100,000 of matching gifts. Thanks to the generous hearts of McAfee teammates, together we have already raised thousands of dollars for worthy causes around the world. We value an employee’s passion for impacting the causes closest to each employee, which is why we are offering 1:1 gift matching (up to $500 USD) to an organization of their choice. McAfee’s focus areas of impact including STEM education, reducing inequalities and environmental sustainability.

About M-Alive
Research shows that organizations with high levels of employee engagement are more efficient and effective, and that highly engaged employees. Having fun at work and celebrating successes is a key part of our approach to engaging with our people The new McAfee brings to life, M-ALIVE. This is the employee engagement initiative. which has a team of enthusiastic volunteers and core committee members. The team is regionally dispersed across Mumbai and Delhi offices as well.

Toastmasters
In our first toastmaster term (2016 - 2017), we achieved the "Select Distinguished Club" status. We are also recipients of many district awards for the year. We received the "Rising Star" and "Spirit of 92" awards from District 92. We meet every Wednesday, 1PM - 2PM
