President Maduro celebrates anniversary of the victory of the Iranian Revolution.
BOLIVARIAN REPUBLIC OF VENEZUELA MINISTRY FOR PEOPLE'S POWER FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS COMMUNIQUÉ The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, on behalf of the People and the Venezuelan government, expresses his joy at the thirty-seventh anniversary of the victory of the Iranian Revolution and the founding of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Islamic Revolution of 1979 represents the victory of the will of the Iranian people to reverse a system of alien domination formed by arrogance and imperial hegemony that caused social inequalities and shortages to the people. The principles of the Islamic Revolution have been the base that has made possible economic, technological, social, cultural and political victories that the Iranian people enjoy today. The People and the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela ratifies their friendship, commitment and willingness to continue working with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on mutual cooperation and building a multipolar and multicenter world needed to defeat the hegemonic ambitions that threaten the survival of humanity itself.
