Venezuela, China strengthen ties of friendship and strategic partnership Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro and his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping held a high-level working meeting on Tuesday at the Great Hall of the People. With this meeting, the two leaders consider to strengthen the strategic alliance between Venezuela and China, based on mutual trust, understanding and the search for a more balanced and multipolar world, said a press release of the Venezuela's Ministry of Communication and Information (Minci). Maduro, during this year's second meeting with Chinese president, intends to consolidate the efforts of cooperation between the two nations, with the aim of making progress in the productive development of the country. Venezuelan president arrived Monday in the People's Republic of China, as part of his working tour of Asian countries. Upon arriving at Beijing International Airport, he was received by the Chinese

ambassador to Venezuela, Zhao Bentang and Zhao Rongxian, former Chinese diplomat in the country, who warmly welcomed him with a presidential salute.

Previously, President Maduro visited the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, where he agreed to a special agricultural development plan guided by three major engines for the production of meat, milk, rice, fish, etc.
