San Sebastian is the culinary capital of Spain and is home to the pintxos, or Basque tapas, which is a must-try experience. The beach, Playa de la Concha, is perfect for people-watching. However, we would create a holiday around Santander where campsites and beaches are excellent. From here you can experience lazy beach days and some exotic daytrips which should include Bilbao, home to the Guggenheim Museum.
