For every festival goer, a hairdo is an important part of the overall ensemble. Whether you’re sporting your mohawk on your way to The Mohawk, letting your loose locks fly on your bikeride to a drum circle, or you’re red-carpet ready in a top-knot, South By Southwest is the perfect time to rock your new ‘do. At Verb, we know how important your hair is to your festival style. Equipped with a pedicab (the quickest way to get around the crowded streets of downtown Austin), a few hand picked stylists, and amazing photographer Andrew Chan, we explored SXSW with a mission to snap photos of the cutest festival attendees. We took to the streets styling everyone and anyone’s hair using Verb Professional Styling Products. You can purchase all of our products here.

Pictured: Rachel With these long locks, Leave-In Mist is an absolute must. The bamboo extract in this formula keeps the hair hydrated while the argan and moringa oil help to keep your hair shiny and healthy. For Rachel, the sunflower seed is a must to protect the hair from UV-rays. Spray through-out towel dried hair and then comb through. Blow dry or wear natural for nourished hair. ghost oil
Pictured: (clockwise from left) Courtney, Lilly, Laura, Geneva For all of these bike beauties, Ghost Oil is the perfect on-the-go product. Small enough to keep in your tote, but effective enough to do a big job. Ghost oil helps saves these locks from being dulled by the wind. Although not much can be said for helmet hair, this formula is light enough to be reapplied during the day. And don’t sweat using it on blonde or short styles-the clear formula does nothing to harm your everlasting color. Pump 2-3 drops in palm and apply evenly through hair. Apply to damp hair for extra heat-styling protection or to dry hair for smoothing shine. Keep it in your bike basket for easy shine on-the-go! Find Verb Ghost Oil here.

Pictured: Laura Can’t tame your hair during SXSW? Add Sea Spray (available May 2013) to achieve windswept waves and daily dry texture. This formula takes landlocked hair to the beach for loose, languid curls. Using natural sea salt and smoothing moisturiser, any type of hair can get a breezy texture boost. You may be in Austin, but you can certainly look like you just arrived from your favorite beach destination. Spray on dry or damp hair in sections using fingertips to twist and define loose curls. Dry naturally for texture and volume or diffuse for amplified waves. Find Verb Sea Spray online or at a salon near you in May 2013.
