Soutien d’urgence aux alumnis de la Verbier Festival Academy, indépendants, auto-entrepreneurs et depuis peu sans emploi –solistes, chambristes et musiciens d’orchestre, chanteurs et chefs d’orchestre– ainsi qu’aux équipes de production et équipes techniques qui font face à une perte de revenus en raison de la pandémie de Covid-19 Emergency relief to freelance, self-employed and newly unemployed Verbier Festival Academy alumni—solo, chamber and orchestral instrumentalists, singers, conductors—and alumni production and technical crew facing lost income because of the global Covid-19 pandemic

Initié par le Fondateur & Directeur du Verbier Festival, Martin T:son Engstroem, le Verbier Festival Emergency Relief Fund a été créé en avril 2020 par un groupe de généreux mécènes qui ont exprimé leur préoccupation quant à la situation des anciens étudiants de la Verbier Festival Academy et ceux qui travaillent dans les coulisses du Festival. À ce jour, CHF 958’000.- ont été donné au fonds et 378 aides allant de CHF 1’000 à 5’000.- ont été distribuées. Tous les fonds disponibles ont été distribués, mais les demandes de soutiens continuent d’affluer. Aidez-nous à atteindre notre objectif d’1 million de francs suisses pour que nous puissions apporter une aide indispensable à ceux qui en ont encore besoin. Spearheaded by Verbier Festival Founder & Director Martin T:son Engstroem, the Emergency Relief Fund was created in April 2020 by a group of generous arts patrons who, early on during the pandemic, expressed concern for the well-being of the Festival’s family of alumni Academy, production and technical crew. To date, CHF 958,000 and has been donated to the fund and 378 grants of CHF 1,000 to 5,000 have been made.

All available funds have now been granted while requests for support continue. Please help us reach our goal of CHF 1 million in order that we may provide a valuable lifeline to the remaining outstanding requests.
