Pour son 25e anniversaire, le Verbier Festival «Fest’Off» a été réinventé sous le nom d’« Unlimited », un nouveau concept qui s’étend sur toute l’année et dont le point culminant est un intense programme estival de spectacles, discussions et ateliers pour tous les âges. Notre mission: offrir des possibilités illimitées de vivre un Festival sous un angle nouveau, tout en complétant la programmation de la scène principale, en mettant en lumière les musiciens et les anciens élèves de l’Academy. Unlimited vise aussi à faire participer les personnes les plus proches de nous, les habitants du Val de Bagnes. Ainsi, pour ce troisième été depuis 2018, Unlimited étend son offre au Châble pour deux semaines de programmation VF Kids et une nouvelle série de concerts intitulée «Electrify». For our 25th birthday, Verbier Festival ‘Fest’Off’ was re-imagined as ‘Unlimited’—a new year-round concept culminating in an intensive all-ages programme of performances, talks and workshops each summer. The mission … to offer unlimited possibilities to experience our Festival through a new lens, while complementing mainstage programming and shining a spotlight on Academy musicians and alumni. Equally important is Unlimited’s aim of engaging those closest to us—the residents of Val de Bagnes. And so, for this third summer edition since 2018, Unlimited expands its offerings to Le Châble for two weeks of VF Kids programming and a new performance series known as ‘Electrify’. Hausse du niveau des mers, fonte des glaciers, événements météorologiques intenses, altération de la santé de la population, instabilité des écosystèmes naturels: Le changement climatique et la perte de biodiversité entrainent des bouleversements en chaîne, aux conséquences dramatiques pour l’environnement et l’humanité. Face à ce constat alarmant, les fondations s’engagent et les actions se multiplient. L’édition 2021 du Verbier Festival Philanthropy Forum examine les initiatives philanthropiques qui se mobilisent en faveur de l’environnement. Climate change and the loss of biodiversity are leading to a succession of upheavals with dramatic consequences for the environment and humanity: rising sea levels, melting glaciers, intense meteorological events, unstable natural ecosystems, not to mention our present global pandemic. Faced with this alarming situation, foundations are increasingly stepping up their efforts. The 2021 edition of the Verbier Festival Philanthropy Forum looks at philanthropic initiatives that are mobilising in favour of the environment.
