WHO'S CHARLIE BROWN? Parents named me Royal C. Brown but I’m known in my city as Charlie Brown. Born and raised in the South Side of Richmond Virginia. I’ve always been passionate about creating music but never took it serious until I was sent to federal prison doing a long bid. It was then when I began expressing my true inner feelings through lyrics. All of my pain, let downs, resentments, hatred, love, ambitions along with rebellion were channeled through my music. I began learning how to play the piano and drums and started producing my own music. My music is literally a diary of my soul. It’s not fabricated or fairytales, it’s real life,... MY LIFE.
Music is what grounds me and gives me this certain balance that is somewhat unexplainable. I’ve done shows in various states and rarely seen an artist with their Own identity. It’s as if the influence of already established artists are molding the characters and swagg of up and coming unsigned artists which doesn’t allow them to be themselves. I refuse to sound like anyone other than who I am and be real in all that I do. Love me or hate me, but at the end of it all, I always remained true to who I am and never lost myself in the shadow of someone else. If a person Really wants to know who I am,..... Listen to my music.

THE RETURN OF R3X My first body of work that I started was my mixtape called "TheHighWay",it included such songs as "100" and "Peer Pressure", both of which are personal songs on my profile; on the popular plaform Soundcloud. "Peer Pressure" was made to show people that I had enough grit to go toe to toe with most artist today and it was a remix of a song a close friend of mine named King Koderre made who is very talented with beats and has a flow that can compare to your favorite white complexion artist.
"100" was written after a brother of mine had passed away from heart failure; his name was Ian Cray, we weren't blood but he inspired me to want more for myself and career Currently I am starting on a fresh and new project called "Simply Unapologetic" that got it's name from my business partner Levi Otis. This man has utilized a song of mine to add a fun element to a show he created called "UnderPAID"which is on YouTube for viewing purposes; I definitely recommend his work. You can find the song he plays called "Jealousy" on my Soundcloud as an mixtape audio and also the official music video under the nickname TRex on Youtube.
So far I have released two songs off of my future Ep on SoundCloud and YouTube. "Black Angels" and "RED" both made by me featuring my family called KT ;who is currently going through legal situations and has produced and featured most of my beats coming up. Byrd the Overcomer from Shawnee Mission, Kansas
I wrote my first poem in fourth grade for punishment for shooting dice with my friends at Sadler Elementry. The teacher was so impressed by the piece that she made me read it for the whole school. That was when I fell in love with poetry. Alot of my influences in poetry weren't really poets in the traditional sense. They were rappers. Namely big ones (Heavy D, Chubb Rock, Biggie, etc.) Then I met a poet who would forever change my life, in the form of Lansing Lee. He let me join his group of spoken word Artist, the legendary Inner City Poets.
There I was, barely in my twenties learning from all these great artists. Of coarse life happened and my dreams of writing were put on the backburner replaced by the responsibilities of fatherhood and marriage. While writing was relegated to just a hobby I wrote frequently. After my divorce I picked the pen up and never put it down again. In August of 2017 team up with fellow spoken word artist Poetic JB, and Soul's Inkpen, we formed what is now the Amazing Muskogee Soul Searchers. Through the Muskogee Soul Searchers I created my own brand Blacklight Poetry. My first book will be dropping this year.

Andre Hustle: Fighting for the American Dream
In 1994, Andre Hustle's mother took the opportunity to remove her young children from the poverty in Haiti to the land of promise and success- America. Shortly after landing in Miami, the family relocated to the city of Fort Myers, Florida. Growing up in Fort Myers, Andre was introduced to racism, from the white population, and prejudice, from black people who looked down on the less fortunate Haitian immigrants. Fighting became common practice for Andre, and the street life began influencing the impressionable young man.
The fast money life of the drug game appealed to Andre as a young man. Of course, the other side of the drug game isn't fully understood until it's too late and Andre found out about the consequences of that lifestyle the hard way, by coming face to face with several felonies when he reached his first year of adulthood. Fortunately, the felonies weren't able to stick and Andre was given six months of probation instead of a lengthy prison sentence. Unfortunately, Andre wasn't out of the hot water yet. The Department of Immigration came after Andre in an attempt to deport him back to Haiti, and a long battle that lasted two years followed.
Refusing to back down, Andre held his ground against the bully as he had done many times growing up, eventually emerging victorious and finally free from the clutches of the United States legal system. With a fresh start and a new mindset, Andre used 'the hustle' mentality he gained from the dope game and applied it to building a career as a hip hop artist.
VERB'Z UP
Developing his craft while learning the business side of things, Andre Hustle worked with a few people before deciding to become a completely independent artist. He also started his own label, Red Cover Entertainment, based out of Fort Myers, Florida. Now that everything is in place, Andre Hustle and his Red Cover Entertainment crew are ready to make their presence known throughout hip hop!
