is all about spoiling people with good experiences. Fulfilling needs and expectations and sometimes even going a step further giving something unexpected. The VERD project emerges as a entirely new travel experience on Mallorca, a model that contrasts sharply from the traditional holiday offering, when it comes to the ways of using what is actually available on the island, all 365 days of the year.

We work with customized hospitality in our concept. For us, it’s all about spoiling our guests and boosting the experience within all areas we are involved in. VERD implements a hybrid experience where its guests and users can explore a wide range of unique activities, ranging all the way from total relaxation and bliss to demanding training sessions at the highest level.
The VERD hybrid has four branches: AGRICULTURE SPORT GASTRONOMY SPORTS MEDICINE / HOLISTIC TREATMENT
The Setting.
VERD will be nestled beautifully on extensive grounds between the famous Tramuntana mountain range and the plains of the Pla de Mallorca. This selective location will enable the visitors to become one with the nature surroundings as well as exploring some of the most beautiful areas of the island, all easily within reach. Mallorcas many exclusive beaches, calas or mountain trails will never be far away.
Design & Sustainability. VERD has been designed with the aim of using the latest
techniques and principles of sustainable awareness, respecting the environment where it will be implemented. We use the best criteria when it comes to bioclimatic solutions available worldwide. We believe sustainability is becoming ever increasingly more important, but the world must still have room for the passion and indulgent pleasure of exclusive design and quality. Therefore, our vision for 2015 is to “show the world how sustainability, quality and exclusive design can all be part of the same solution” within a hospitality project in Mallorca. It will require us to unleash all of our creative energies to solve the many small challenges ahead, but far from being a revolution. To show the world what sustainable quality means, it simply requires that we use our common sense every step of the way.

HISTORY (MALLORCA) OVER THE LAST 5 DECADES MALLORCA HAS BECOME THE FAVOURITE HOLIDAY AND RESIDENTIAL PLAYGROUND TO MILLIONS OF PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD The beautiful nature, the mild climate and the island´s incredible heritage has always attracted people to come and spend quality time amongst the local Mallorquin people, who over centuries have been the main ingredient of the island`s incredible heritage. However, such beauty also comes with certain responsibilities and today Mallorca is confronted with many serious challenges for the years to come. History has shown that without a serious commitment and awareness towards these challenges, and social responsibility, seasonality issues, temporary unemployment, and dependency of seasonal alteration can become major obstacles for decades to come. VERD therefore believes that Mallorca has the obligation to show the way, being a leader when it comes to developing new strategies and concepts, to ensure that not only will it remain a favorite playground but become a lighthouse and show the way when its come to creating sustainable development for years to come.

CONCEPT(DEVELOPMENT) International scope. The VERD concept is a pioneering concept, both in its form
and operational design. Verd collaborates with world-renowned ambassadors in order to optimize it´s unique concept and hospitality programs. VERD has the support of experts in each field of activity offered. Initial collaboration schemes and agreements have been reached with international experts, ensuring that VERD will become a key destination within each of the 5 activity areas of the center.
Lighthouse for Mallorca. VERD will promote and reaffirm Mallorca as the
destination of choice in terms of sports training, sports medicine, gastronomy and sustainable green solutions, offering supplemental educational events within a program of activities.
Cutting edge design. VERD is designed with the intend to become a milestone
within building design on the island, however, always respectful to the environment, using only the most innovative and most efficient construction technologies available today.
Sustainability and bioclimatic technologies. The center is planned with
the utmost respect for the environment in which it is located, therefor also completely integrated into the landscape, minimizing any visual impact. The concept manifest is based on the use of exclusive bioclimatic and sustainable architecture & design, in order to constitute a new benchmark towards future developments on the island.
Creating permanent jobs. In addition to creating jobs in the area of services
associated with the world of hospitality, VERD will provide permanent jobs for a highly qualified personnel in all areas, such as sports medicine, physiotherapy, nutrition, holistic health, event organization and much more.

CONCEPT(HYBRID)
THE VERD HYBRID OF ACTIVITIES AGRICULTURE SPORTS SPORTS MEDICINE GASTRONOMY
VERD has been specifically created to ensure a 365 day hospitality experience, everything
designed and developed within a sustainable environment.
The hybrid will ensure that a 7 season program of activities can be implemented, each of them with specific focus on what each season activity has of needs, when it comes to facility design and installations. The hybrid guarantees a stable all year working environment for the employees of the VERD project.

CONCEPT
CONCEPT(AGRICULTURE) Wine production.
VERD is nestled in between 150,000 m2 of vineyard, capable of producing 120.000 bottles of wine each year. This will be done in collaboration with the best wine producers already in Mallorca.
Organic produce. As part of its food concept, VERD
will have its own Green House area, with on site of fruit and vegetable that will supply the kitchens of the two food outlets of the center. This production will play an important role in the culinary program of the VERD concept.
Composting. VERD commits to organic farming with
self-sustainable techniques, which is why it has its own composting center to be able to be self-sufficient with the organic fertilizers it may need.
Investigation.
VERD will dedicate an important part of its agricultural activity to investigation with the aim of recuperating lost tradition and variety within the local history of farming.

Inspired by the growing and revolutionary culinary movement worldwide, VERD will offer its customers a dining experience in its two restaurants, where the result of a specific concept, will be lifted up the role of traditional Balearic cuisine, presented in a new approach. DESIGN Symbiosis between building and landscape Based on the islands characteristic linear wine yards the building is designed as symbiosis between architecture and nature, where the building volumes are weaved together with fruit tree orchards and recreational spaces. A series of overlapping circles distributes the individual hotel rooms and common areas in a unique master plan that favors both the functional demands of the hotel and the need to create an exclusive resort with an attractive ambience.
Inspiration from local architecture By learning from the traditional architectural elements on Mallorca, the project creates a sensitive connection between the traditional ‘Fincas’, the new hotel and the Mediterranean landscape. Patios are interpreted in a contemporary way to create evocative communal spaces and private outdoor spaces for the hotel units while pergolas shade passages and squares and the traditional water element ‘Safareig’ is used aesthetically to bind the master plan together and create cooled microclimates. SUSTAINABILITY(LEADERSHIP) VERD IS AN ENERGY+ PROJECT As a result of the vocation of wanting to become a center of technological experimentation, VERD has amongst it´s main interests, the wish of becoming a lighthouse when it comes to sustainable development and energy consumption. To ensure this thinking to become reality, the project will be supported by leading expertise in all areas, as for example design and architecture as well as the energy installation technologies to be implemented throughout the entire VERD compound. VERD is committed to sport disciplines, where practicing it, does not involve massive construction of specific infrastructure, such as arenas, golf courses, tennis courts, etc etc. The training camp of the VERD project will be the unique nature of Mallorca and its roads. VERD invites it´s visitors to practice the thinking of sustainable solutions throughout the entire spectrum when coming to visit Mallorca.

VERD will be designed according to current cuttingedge & sustainable architecture benchmarks, all within an ambitious program of seasonality solutions, experimenting with renewable energy architecture, sustainable development and international expansion. Worldwide there are now five islands aiming to be bright and green, targeting to become sustainable societies and develop new answers to the global challenge. VINES OF MALLORCA Being part of the Verd project, future â&#x20AC;&#x153;Vines of Mallorcaâ&#x20AC;? owners will be able to make that dream come true, becoming involved directly in growing and producing their own wine, of course consulted by local wine producers and international wine experts. The Vines of Mallorca Private Vineyards will offer exclusive access to 30 wine lovers who along with the ownership will enjoy a long list of amenities from the Verd project as well as the 2 private Vines of Mallorca guesthouses.

RESIDENTIAL INTRO Mallorca, has over the last decades become a well respected location for the production of fine wines.
There is no doubt that this Mediterranean island has a very attractive seaside with white sand and crystalline water, but Mallorca also invites you to go further and combine holidays on the beach with a pleasant stay in the countryside or unforgettable gastronomical dates in which one can enjoy the great richness of the Spanish wines produced on this island. During the last years, the production of Mallorcan wines has risen incredibly. Nowadays, there are approximately 60 wineries on the island, which together produces more than 300 wines. This trend has also had its affect on the real estate market and prices of finca possessions have been going up at a steady rate, even through the years of crisis that the entire market experienced from 2008 to 2012. Recent figures from local market research shows that sales from high end properties during the first quarter of 2013 went up 40% compared to the period of 2012. (Statistics from E&V) The Can Ribera Wine Estate project has been designed and developed to meet this growing demand in the high end range of the market, taking advantage of its local knowledge and experience by its developers. Being part of the the new VERD hospitality development, Can Ribera will be the first of 3 exclusive wine estates, that when fully implemented it will produce more than 100.000 bottles of wine per year.
