Junior Architect. -Worked on several large scale projects located in France, Morocco and Romania. These included a commercial center and a mosque in Marrakech, a travel agency in Marseille, multiple apartment buildings in Bucharest and many smaller projects. -Worked together with other architects as well as independently under tight time schedules -Balanced multiple stakeholders and attended direct client meetings to work out further solutions -Created 3D visualizations in Archicad and Lumion for presentations -Created technical details, fire security scenarios and schedules in Archicad -Took initiative to implement Archicad’s Teamwork function in order to make developing larger scale projects more efficient -Coded during idle periods of time a Windows Form Application in C# using Microsoft Visual Studio, which calculates reinforced concrete structures, in order to help my colleagues use plausible dimensions for structural elements. Internship Architect. - Developed high energy efficient porous concrete facade panels in Rhino & Grasshopper together with partner company Cemex. I also took initiative to create a Grasshopper-algorithm to test the parameters of different panels, but also generate new 3d models, when input changed. - Represented my office by giving a lecture at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya to students participating to Climate Concrete 2.0 Workshop about my high energy efficient panel designs. -Created renderings for office website in Keyshot. Internship Architect. -Built a detailed BIM model in Archicad for Fette Compacting office building in order to speed up and to optimize ongoing construction works. The simulations and schedules I made helped the company finish its 4 story building before the end of 2017. -Made 3d animations and renderings in Lumion, including one final 15-minute-long video, for presenting solutions to partners and specialists. -Helped introduce and implement BIM to my office’s workflow. Internship Designer. -Designed new, innovative urban furniture in Archicad, including benches, street lamps and rubbish bins. The designs took into consideration material efficiency and the technical limitations of the studio’s workshop. The materials used included wood, metal and concrete. - Created a Grasshopper algorithm for transforming grayscale images into vector based file for laser cutting, which saved valuable time by automating a previously manual process.

Details
Porous Concrete Panel Monterrey, Mexico Pich Architects - Barcelona
-designed high energy efficient porous concrete facade panels in Rhino & Grasshopper together with partner company Cemex -collaborated with specialists to reach certain energetic performance -created algorithm in Grasshopper to test shape related parameters automatically -created algorithm to evolve shapes to obtain ideal performance -designed different versions of facade as a whole -created renderings for office website in Keyshot.
Shopping Mall and Mosque Marrakech, Morocco Syka’z Design Studio - Bucharest
- created numerous essential construction details, schedules in Archicad for optimizing ongoing construction works - designed interior spaces, such as the restaurant, main entrance, smaller shops and other commercial areas in shopping mall which were critical to give a coherent image to the building - made numerous renderings in Lumion for client explaining our designs, including short videos presenting sun studies - worked on the concept development phase and the visualization of the mosque.
Weekend-houses in the mountains Busteni, Romania Syka’z Design Studio - Bucharest
- designed 8 weekend-houses in the Romanian mountains, on a steep slope. Technical solutions included lightweight structure made of wood and reinforced concrete for the underground parts - held meetings with clients and experts in order to find viable solutions - developed concept together with them on the spot, using Archicad and Lumion Live synchronization function - created essential renderings in Lumion which helped convince client to start construction at a point when they were considering halting the investment - created architectural drawings and schedules in Archicad for the Construction Permit Application
Collective Housing Bucharest, Romania Syka’z Design Studio - Bucharest Collaboration with: arch. Tiberiu Vladuca, arch. Alexandra Stoian
-Worked in a team with other two architects in Archicad’s Teamwork environment to design an apartment building in Bucharest consisting of 70 units -developed the project under a tight schedule, in a couple of weeks, which meant communication and coordination was essential for it to succeed -helped with improving our office’s Archicad workflow, which saved valuable time on future projects -created 3d renderings for final presentation
ArhiToolBox Computer Program
-created a complex Windows Form Application in Microsoft Visual Studio using C# coding language which would calculate dimensions of reinforced concrete elements, based on formulas studied at University -made interactive Graphic User Interface for ease-of-use -wrote 6 different subprograms which could dimension slabs, beams, columns, structural walls -enjoyed considerable success among university colleagues and professors as well as real-life professionals
