August 17, 2012 Linda Heron Chair, Vermilion River Stewardship info@VermilionRiverStewards.ca Dear Ms. Heron, Thank you for submitting your written comments on the Greater Sudbury Source Protection Plan on behalf of Vermilion River Stewardship. According to the Clean Water Act, all comments received by the Source Protection Authority during this second public consultation period are to be forwarded to the Minister of the Environment with the proposed plan by August 20, 2012. The first public consultation period was from April 16th to June 4thand comments were received by the Source Protection Committee. The committee was able to make changes to the plan based on comments received. The committee provided the revised plan to the Source Protection Authority who posted it on July 9, 2012. The Source Protection Authority is not able to make substantive changes to the proposed plan, however, they will provide all comments received to the Minister of the Environment.
