It’s time to embrace these disruptive technologies and understand the practical, tangible, awesome things these can do for your business right now!
Keynote: Technology Leadership in an Accelerating World Ross Dawson, Technology Futurist The impact of technologies such as AI, IoT and Blockchain is accelerating as they gain maturity and are applied extensively across industries. Organisations’ technology units have an opportunity – and responsibility – to play a leadership role in uncovering their potential, educating top executives, establishing platforms and shaping the future of their companies.
Putting AI to Work Today’s business leaders must use data more intelligently in an increasingly challenging commercial climate – step forward AI, its potential and readiness to create business value is now greater than ever. Customer Panel Q&A Future of Business: How will your organisation need to adapt to stay competitive in a technology-centric world? We believe the future of enterprise IT is completely autonomous. By 2020, Oracle predicts that 90% of every application and service will incorporate AI at some level. The emergence of these new technologies and their potential to disrupt industries and processes, means it’s now integral that organisations have a robust innovation strategy. With 31% of CEOs focusing their efforts on ‘disruptive technologies’ it’s time to understand how to adapt to stay competitive in a technologycentric world. In this panel discussion we will discuss how business will operate in a new, technology-centric environment and address questions such as: • How do you prepare your organisation for disruption and digitisation? • What are the emerging skills and capabilities required in the IT function to drive value through technology? • What processes should organisations start today to ease this transition? • How will you communicate with your consumers and clients? • How do you effectively develop, deploy and scale innovation?

How To Achieve Business Outcomes from IoT
Making Your User Experience More Natural
IoT is transforming a world of things into a world of data. In business, it’s driving change by delivering operation optimisation and enabling new product/ service propositions. However, the returns will depend on getting key things right – enablement of solutions, support of business users, use of the digital thread for timely decisions and actions.
This is the year where conversational AI interfaces go to work in the enterprise, becoming the new user experience. Imagine the business impact when message driven chatbots handle routine customer service enquiries, marketing offers are proactive recommendations delivered in context and employee satisfaction ratings soar due to improved self-service experience. Time to jump on board.
In this session you’ll • Learn what’s needed to make it easier for IoT to drive business outcomes • Hear how an integrated applications approach will enable you to make business processes more effective • Discover common use-cases and organisations that have made IoT work for them
How Can Business Really Use Blockchain? Blockchain holds the promise to fundamentally transform how business is done, making transactions more secure, transparent, and efficient. Its ability to enable smart contracts with your commercial network has the potential to significantly reduce costs and risk. But are organisations today able to move to real world deployment? In this session, you’ll: • Learn the enterprise possibilities of blockchain and what’s driving the use-cases • Understand what challenges companies are working to address and why • Discover what you need to do to integrate blockchain into business-critical processes
In this session, you’ll: • Hear how you can drive personalised, engaging experiences for customers and employees • Discover the hottest use cases for digital virtual assistants, augmented and virtual reality • Learn how and where to get started in your organisation
Let The Next Upgrade be Your Last ….. Forever! Oracle’s cloud solution has been 10 years in the making, however, why did Oracle create the Oracle Cloud and what does this mean for you. During this session Oracle will offer guidance on how organisations can easily plan their transition to the cloud. It’s not a matter of if, it’s when organisations will make the move. IT teams need to be prepared for this change to ensure they are able to respond to business requests, customer needs and market conditions. We will share with you how to get started and discuss the tangible business benefits which will be experienced through one simple automated upgrade. Let the next upgrade be the last upgrade you will ever undertake. Attend this session and we can explain how.
