Canal cruise in Amsterdam A canal cruise through the canals is a must-do when visiting Amsterdam. Experience a cruise through the famous Prinsengracht canal and admire the oldest canal houses and houseboats. The canal cruise passes by the Anne Frank House, the Wester Church, the Rembrandt House, the Maritime Museum and the renovated Rijksmuseum. The cruise starts and ends at the Stadhouderskade, which is situated opposite to Holland Casino and the Hardrock Cafe. The starting point is a short stroll from the Museum Square and the green Vondelpark. The canal cruise has several vessels with a lift on board. This lift allows people using a wheelchair to access the canal cruise boat. The width of the path between the seats on the boat is wide enough for wheelchairs and the door is a sliding door. Cheese Tour ‘making and tasting’ The Cheese Tour takes place at a traditional cheese farm in the southern region of the province of Noord-Holland called ‘Waterland’. This region boasts green pastures, windmills, dikes and lots of small water ways. Amongst this beautiful scenery, you’ll be enjoying a cheese making workshop and cheese tasting tour. Once the cheese is prepared it will go into the press where it needs to stay for a while. While you’re waiting, you’ll be guided through the cheese farm and enjoy a cheese tasting of a large variety of cheeses with a glass of fruity wine and typical Dutch cookies.
