ECOLOGICAL LANDSCAPE INFRASTRUCTURE RETHINKING URBAN LANDSCAPE CONCEPT
INTRODUCTION WHAT WOULD ALTERNATIVE CITY LOOK LIKE?
WHAT IF WE RESPECT NATURAL FORCES INSTEAD OF FORCING IT TO BE CONTROLLED? HOW CAN WE DO THAT? • FLOOD COME AND GO • WETLANDS STAYS • WASTE ABSORBED AND CLEANSED BY NATURAL PROCESSES • NATIVE SPECIES AND BIRDS COHABIT WITH THE CITY HUMAN BEINGS • SO THE BEAUTY OF THE NATURE WOULD BE APPRECIATED , NEITHER TAMED OR HEAVILY MAINTAINED . WATER-BASED ECOLOGICAL INFRASTRUCTURE WILL STRUCTURE THE TOWN.

GRAND ENTRANCE DESIGN PROPOSAL THIS GATE IS A SYMBOL AND A LANDMARK OF VSIP HAI PHONG TOWNSHIP. THIS SUPPORTS AND REPRESENTS THE WHOLE CONCEPT OF ECO-TOWN INFRASTRUCTURE. THIS GATE IS MULTI-FUNCTIONAL: IT COLLECTS THE STORM WATER AND IT ALSO HAS SOLAR PANELS, WHICH MAKES IT SO SPECIAL AND DIFFERENT. IT HELPS TO PROVIDE ELECTRICITY TO SOME PARTS OF THE PEDESTRIAN AND LAKESIDE PARK. THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO EDUCATE CHILDREN, ATTRACT VISITORS AND IMPROVE ECONOMY OF THE DISTRICT. DESIGN CONCEPT SOLAR PANELS CORED STRUCTURE
COLUMN TOP VIEW
FUNCTIONS COLLECTING STORM WATER
THIS SCULPTURES ARE CORED, ITS STRUCTURE ALLOWS THE STORM WATER TO GET IN, FLOW DOWN THE PIPES INTO THE LAKE AND RIVER.

THE PANELS ABSORB THE SUN’S RAYS AS A SOURCE OF ENERGY FOR GENERATING ELECTRICITY WHICH CAN BE USED AT NIGHT TO LIGHT UP THE SURROUNDING TERRITORY.
魔法森林 ENCHANTED FOREST CHILDRENS PARK LOCATION HANGZHOU, CHINA DATE MAY 2016 AREA 40 000 M2
CHILDREN’S PARK “ENCHANTED FOREST” AT HUPAO, HANGZHOU, CHINA THE CONCEPT OF THIS PARK, THE AIM, IS TO CREATE A DIALOGUE BETWEEN NATURE AND GROWING HUMAN BEINGS, CHILDREN. I HAVE CREATED A THEMATIC PARK AND AS WELL I WROTE A STORY AND MADE A SMALL COMIC BOOK ABOUT MAGIC CREATURES THAT LIVE IN FORESTS TO LET KIDS BE MORE INTERESTED IN NATURAL SYSTEM: PLANTS, TREES AND ITS HABITAT CREATION. I WORKED TO CREATE NOT JUST A SPACE BUT A SPACE THAT CREATE A STRONG FRIENDLY CONNECTION AND UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT IS NATURE AND HOW IMPORTANT IT IS. PARK IS DIVIDED TO 7 ZONES, EACH OF IT REPRESENTS DIFFERENT LANDSCAPES WITH DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES IN IT: WATER, CLIMBING TO THE TREE HOUSES, RUNNING BETWEEN THE TREES, CLIMBING HILLS, RUNNING IN THE NATURAL LABYRINTHS, WALKING UP THE MOUNTAIN, TAKING LOOK AT THE WHOLE PARK FROM THE HIGHEST SPOT. WHILE DESIGNING IT I WAS USING TRADITIONAL CHINESE CALLIGRAPHY TO CREATE A PATH AND FOLK STORIES OF NOTHERN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES TO CREATE A COMIC AND A FAIRY TALE.
IN THIS PARK DESIGN I TOOK CARE NOT ONLY OF THE ESTHETICS, BUT ALSO I KEPT THE NATURAL POUNDS AND WATERFALLS WHICH ALREADY EXISTED ON THE SITE. AS WELL I PRESERVED THE NATURAL LANDSCAPE SUCH AS HILL, TREES, WITHOUT MODIFYING IT IN ORDER TO KEEP ENVIRONMENT CLEAN, TAKE GOOD CARE OF WATER RESOURCES.

PRESSFOTO OFFICE LOCATION CHELIABINSK, RUSSIA DATE FEBRUARY 2016
Building structure reminds a polygon. There are 3 floors. Third floor has three zones; each of it is made for different departments of the company. Second floor has 4 zones. First floor has 5, which makes the whole construction very stable. When those 5 come together it creates the 6th zone: inner garden. I divided it to two: an open one and winter garden - garden covered with walls and ceiling made of glass for more light and transparency, which allows it to be visible from each floor of the building. The outside uncovered garden, it’s not just a place to take a rest at, but as well people who work in the office, can participate in taking care of it, grow vegetables, flowers, plant trees etc. Same thing can be repeated in roof-top gardens. The structure that I have created allows having a roof-top garden on top of each “box, which makes it 12 gardens. Each of it can have different functions, such as: used by photographers, video makers for having better background, protecting roof-tops from extreme temperatures, growing organic vegetables.

WAI TONG WU <SHAN SHUI> PARK LOCATION HANGZHOU, CHINA DATE DECEMBER 2015 AREA 1600 M2
Park is located in the Waitong Wu Art Village. Its concept is to bring life to the surroundings and let the artists and tourists express themselves through the painting or writing on the black stones. Space is designed to be transformed by people and to interact with them. This is not only helping to artists who work there but as well helps the area to improve economically by becoming more lively and interesting. The storm water can be collected in rainy season and go through the site, creating waterfalls and tiny river which can be used to irrigate the plants.

龙坞茶村 活动中心
LONGWU TEA VILLAGE ACTIVITY CENTER LOCATION HANGZHOU, CHINA DATE APRIL 2015 AREA 10000 M2
The design of Activity Center is made to provide a better place for activities in Longwu tea village. I moved tea trees to the top of the buildings, so they don’t have to be destroyed even when the buildings are there. This design as well creates an amazing space for walking and observing closely tea trees, for having an opportunity to take a look from the roof-top gardens at the mountains, river and the village from a new angle.

LONGWU TANG VILLAGE SCENERY AREA PLANNING
LOCATION HANGZHOU, CHINA DATE SEPTEMBER 2014 AREA 3 HA 公顷
This Tang Village is located in Hangzhou, Long Wu district. It is famous for its tea. Even though it is part of the city, it is not urbanized. This is a rural area, with the rich soils of the plain supporting more than 3 hectares of agriculture and tea terrains. The population of the village is 11000 people, of which agricultural population is 8000 people which is 73%. The whole Long Wu area contains almost 15 000 acres of forest, 5080 acres of tea plantations of famous Longjing Tea. Hangzhou government wants to make the area more touristic and commercial, to become a new ecological and recreational district for the city.In our proposal of master plan, we created 4 seasons’ paths, each of those has unique qualities according to the season, and this makes a walk or bike riding more enjoyable and more attractive for the tourists. We made paths around the village, insideit and along it. Now pedestrians can go hike to the top of the mountains, take a walk in bamboo forest, walk between tea plantations, take a walk on the village streets, where are so many tea shops and small restaurants. Almost each house in the village can offer you food and cup of tea with a great view to the mountains. Village is located near by the small lake on top of the mountain; water goes down to the village along it. People who live there are not always have an access to the water, so in our design we changed it, make it more accessible. As well we took care of cyclers and pedestrians, made the walkways and driveways more save, by separating it with the heights differences. The paths that we have designed allow cyclers ride up the mountain. All this make village more attractable for the tourists and safer for the people who lives there.
<NOVOPEREDELKINO> METRO STATION, INTERIOR & PAVILIONS INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN COMPETITION
LOCATION MOSCOW,RUSSIA DATE JULY 2014
Pavilions over the underpass gatherings The inspiration for those pavilions was traditional churches campanes, form of underpass pavilions is a form of a huge bell which was used in ancient time as an alarm for important events. Subway station “Novoperedelkino is a new station a yellow line of Moscow metropolitan. Novoperedlkino is a historical place; it is the place where all the enemies who came to conquer Russia were stoped by this old village. The symbol of safety in Russia that time was church, people believed that God can protect, so in that place they built many of them in 14 century: traditional Russian churches with painted domes. According to that I took churches domes as an idea for design. Iteriors: white color in all the interiors is a symbol of a new start for that place as a part of the city , of the capital. The task of a competition was to create interiors, pavilions and platforms which are different from the other stations, to erase the symbols of Soviets and make it contemporary but try to connect it with people who lives in that new district. Subway there will be opened in 2017. A symbol and logo of this project are church’s domes.
Pavilions with elevators for people with limited mobility The inspiration for design was the Russian traditional chuch domes. Creating those pavilions in a form of a dome I wanted to keep the historical memory of an architecture and the events, happened during the war time. As well this colorful design makes this area brighter ans not so grey as the most of Moscow districts. Materials used in this project are very safe: fire safe and also trauma safe, no glass, only plastic. Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic (GFRP), Fibro concrete are used in interiorsand exteriors, that materials are good to create smooth forms, Nowadays it is very popular material all around the world and it is used by the most successful architects.

On the territory of the park there are two kinetic sculptures. Park has skateboarding playground. Lights are located inside the staircases and lower than the ground level next to the sculptures. That fits the campus lighning design and elaborates well the territory near by.
傍宅地 BANG ZHAI DI GARDEN LOCATION HANGZHOU, CHINA DATE APRIL 2014 AREA 330 M2
The design of a 傍宅地 garden is
based on ancient text, describing the traditional Chinese garden in a book 《园冶》中国古代造园. The design is a pure imagination that I got after reading translated scripts of the book. One part of this garden is a roof-top garden, the other one is a regular one on the ground floor near by the villa. The idea is to create something unusual but very close to the concept of Traditional Chinese Garden 园林. Roof-top garden has a small pound on it. When water goes down to the ground floor one it creates a small beautiful waterfall, makes water move. Each garden structure look similar and it is, but it is a reflection of another.
