Informal Commons is the space for people and communities to claim ownership over the city, and for informal situations to unfold, fostering inter-personal connections locally with the means of personal mobility. A one-week trip to Madrid preceded the project.

FORUM-IN-FLUX ADELAIDE CREATIVE HUB
competition | Bee Breeders | 08-09 2017 team: Hadeel Ayed, Max Hsu
The project seeks to harness the creativity of the festival city Adelaide by means of extending and amplifying its vibrant culture from the major attraction points into its urban and social landscapes. The process is to utilize a series of deployable carts that are flexible and tailor-fitted the desires of the local communities. Whether it is a meeting between two entrepreneurs are a large performance, a field condition can be generated in the field as needed. The site itself becomes no more than a focal point from where the adjustable pieces can be distributed into a city. Forum-in-Flux has received an Honorable mention at the Adelaide Community Hub competition. https://beebreeders.com/acchhon4-win-interview

that revives the old industrial neighbourhood in Santa Monica by bringing back manufacturing into the urban area. The textile production is a visible participatory activity that provides the school of fashion design with materials and is informed by their designs and research. We expect this integration of industry and consumption would bring new energy to this region and bring the culture of production back to the city. The relationships between production and consumption are manifested in the “affiliation“ area in between where the temporal events such as runaways or exhibitions can be held.
