Enzo Gloves Something about slipping on the Corazzo Enzo glove is a sensual experience, as the perforated leather wraps your hand and becomes a second skin. So far the smallest margin of victory at the Indianapolis 500 was in 1992, when Al Unser Jr. beat Scott Goodyear by just 0.043 of a second. The two drivers battled nose-to-tail as they drafted and slipstreamed off each other during the last seven laps. The crowd went almost hysterical. It’s times like those when every last detail counts.

The Tempeste

We can map the human genome. Put a man on the moon. Ferment beer from 45 million year old prehistoric yeast. But all the science and technology in the world still hasn’t been able to improve upon the humble cowhide for its combination of performance and style.

Maybe you’re not the kind of person who looks for trouble. Then again, maybe you are. If you’re used to being thrown out of establishments headfirst because you refuse to take guff from maître ds or bouncers, then the Tempeste is for you. If, on the other hand, you find that minivans try to mount and mate with your Vespa while you’re just picking up milk, then the Tempeste is also for you.

Which is why it was inevitable that we would create the Leather 5.0. Details include Knox® armor in the shoulders and elbows as well as a Rated back protector. (Sorry, armor not bulletproof.) Then friends in the military started coming home from the Middle East. New regs demanded they wear “high vis” (bright florescent orange) when riding on the base. And how could we say no to them?

All of which should help out a lot if you ever take a spill from your scooter. Or a dog decides you really are a postal worker. Or both.

Remember when gas station attendants would rush out to help you? No, of course you don’t. Those days are long gone. Only to be seen in the occasional old movie.

Underhoody was designed for the avid rider, those not afraid to go out on the chillier days and still have a blast. Following our tradition of pairing function and form, the Corazzo Underhoody has lots of subtle tricks up its sleeve. We’ve incorporated thumb-holes into the sleeves to keep the cold out, covering that gap between your glove and the jacket cuff. With a balaclava designed hood you are able to cover head, nose, mouth, chin and neck at once. You can also wear the hood down, and it makes for a sweet neck muff. The overall construction of the Underhoody is a 20% Lycra fleece, with flat stitching to keep seams thin for layering. The fabric is a four way stretch material that makes for a slim streamlined fit, perfect under your Corazzo jacket.

Janet loathed riding in the winter time, she couldn’t stand showing up to work sopping wet and having to change. It got so bad that she would buy a bus pass for the months of winter while her scoot sat idle. Then she found the Corazzo Lap Apron. Waterproof nylon and thick fleece lining made it easy to be warm and dry, even the nastiest of days.

A longtime pilot and a lifelong friend of ours was worried. Which was unusual.

Place: Phoenix, Arizona. Time: 2:13 am. Temperature: 104 degrees. The perfect time for a ride in the Sonoran Desert.

The fastest thing in most cities is not the Porsche wielding stockbroker or the Desmosedici riding banker.

This is a woman who flies her ancient T6 Warbird in the Reno Air Races. That is when she isn’t flying through mountain passes on her T-5 Vespa.

But not the perfect place for a heavy riding jacket. No, what you need is a force field that still lets the air through. But since the Corazzo Force Field™ is still in the prototype stage, we came up with this. We call it the Ventata, which is Italian for wind.

It’s the underappreciated but essential bicycle messenger.

The fabric is well, there’s no word really to describe it but . . . sumptuous. But perhaps more importantly to the rider, it’s supremely tough and water resistant. And since any transportation on two wheels is a dangerous proposition, we’ve made our bag as safe as any bag can be.

There’s a nice thick reflective 3M stripe that runs the full width of the bag. The flap can be closed with Velcro or buckles or both. Padded corduroy inserts help cushion anything you deem important, say your laptop or that top-secret dossier. And there’s the cushioned, adjustable shoulder strap that gives you the option of wearing the bag across your back or chest. Finally, there’s a number of pockets throughout — including a mesh pocket with a key toggle, 3 elastic pen pockets, and a divider for the main interior.
