COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Veterans housing Veterans, armed with the strength and support of the community. Veterans Community Project (VCP) was founded in 2016 by a group of combat Veterans in Kansas City, Missouri, who were determined to stand in the gaps of a broken system that left too many of our brothers and sisters behind. Since its grassroots beginning, VCP has been the community's project. We are privately funded and fueled by an army of volunteers and supporters passionate about serving those who took the oath to defend our country. As VCP's first site, VCP of Kansas City has already impacted the lives of thousands of Veterans across the Midwest. We serve Veterans through outreach, from obtaining military paperwork to providing supplemental food and emergency financial assistance to more in-depth supportive case management services. In 2023, we continued providing Outreach and Residential services, created an Alumni Program, and expanded our Career Support Services program. We welcomed 20 new Veterans into our VCP Village, where they will continue to work diligently with Case Managers to overcome barriers to achieve permanent housing! Our successful transition rate in 2023 was an astonishing 95%. Our Outreach Center served 2,068 unique clients and assisted with $143,047 in emergency assistance funds alone. In 2024, we're thrilled to continue and expand our outreach, career support services, Alumni and Residential programs for an even more significant community impact! Corporate allies are vital to this effort, allowing us to respond swiftly and efficiently to community needs and new opportunities. We strive to create mutually beneficial partnerships that connect sponsors to other civic and business leaders and create meaningful employee engagement experiences. We invite you to join us for another exciting, fast-paced year! In addition to various partnership opportunities, you will find information about our three signature events and other exciting ways to get involved at VCP of Kansas City. Thanks to our community's support, these events raised critical funds to support VCP's mission to end Veteran homelessness! Thank you in advance for your action and support. We look forward to a great year ahead. Chris Admire, Executive Director cadmire@vcp.org
