Home is more than just a place to live. Since its grassroots beginning, Veterans Community Project (VCP) has been the community’s project. We are proud to partner with innovative, action-minded organizations like you that resolve to stand in the gap and ensure our nation’s Veterans live with dignity and honor.

By leveraging resources, expertise, and relationships, our corporate and foundation allies help VCP of Kansas City respond swiftly and efficiently to community needs and new service opportunities.
We work closely with our partners to ensure social and philanthropic goals are achieved in the areas of:
• Meaningful employee engagement
• Impactful marketing strategies
• Long-term business prospects
• Positive community change
With your help, VCP of Kansas City has already impacted the lives of thousands of Veterans across the country. In Kansas City, we served Veterans through our Outreach and Residential programs, providing services that range from obtaining military paperwork to providing supplemental food and emergency financial assistance to more in-depth supportive case management services.
In 2025, VCP of Kansas City is excited to embark on a journey of growth and expanded impact within our community. Our primary focus will be on the development of our new Welcome Center Building, which will allow us to enhance and broaden our services to Veterans.
Thank you in advance for your action and support. We look forward to a great year ahead!

Many Veterans arrive at VCP Village carrying only the weight of pain, uncertainty, and loneliness from life on the streets. Team 49 is an exclusive group of businesses and individuals dedicated to sponsoring a Veteran’s needs in the Village for an entire year. As a Team 49 member, you can ensure Veterans have access to life-changing resources, including case management, health care, utilities, and essential household goods, helping them rebuild their lives with stability and dignity on their mission to achieve permanent housing.

When a Veteran moves into one of our transitional homes, they step into a fully furnished space complete with appliances, furniture, pots, pans, towels, bedding, two weeks of groceries, and everything else they need to make the house feel like home. When Veterans are ready to transition to their own permanent housing, they take it all with them—ensuring a fresh start with the essentials already in place.
