When Ada, Wales and I started this magazine after a girls’ afternoon out, we didn’t know what to expect. As members of the photography, fashion, and entertainment industries, we knew there was a need for a platform to showcase up-and-coming talent. We remembered the struggles of trying to get our foot in the door and how incredible the feeling of our first successes was. Now we’re on Issue 37 and have worked with incredible people from across the globe; we are blessed beyond all measure for the opportunities and for the people we have met. Nothing stays the same and I am so pleased to make a series of announcements. First, our beloved editor Wales will be stepping down from her official duties at VEUX Magazine to pursue a doctorate in education. She will continue to sit on the Board of Directors at AVW Publishing Inc., and will continue to contribute incredible stories and photographs about life in Toronto. We wish her all the best and look forward to calling her “Doctor Wong” in the future. Secondly, we wanted to congratulate Ada on the birth of a healthy beautiful baby boy! The whole family is doing well and we are all so happy for you! In light of these adjustments, VEUX Magazine will be consolidating and simplifying our processes.
