VGM Live at Home (LAH) is a member service organization that helps certified accessible home modification providers and contractors transform homes for independent, safe living.
With the VGM Live at Home program, you will have access to tools you need to start a home accessibility business or grow an existing one. The home access industry is a fast-growing, evolving niche market that serves people who choose to age in place or families who have a mobility-challenged family member. Our program will provide a certified education package that will teach you how to professionally evaluate and recommend appropriate home safety solutions for the home environment and consider the needs and capabilities of the home’s resident(s).
We are also building a national network of select home access companies, and with that, a consumer lead program. VGM Live at Home provides business solutions and price breaks on many goods and services that all companies need and use, as well as great manufacturer partners who will train you on how to sell and install their products and help your business grow

Certified Education and Training
CEAC AND MASTER CEAC
Our Certified Environmental Access Consultant (CEAC), Master CEAC, and Home Safety Assessment Consultant (HSAC) courses are programs that are designed specifically for customer-facing home access professionals. It focuses 100% on exactly what home accessibility professionals encounter when working with clients to recommend appropriate safety upgrades. We believe this platform should be your #1 choice for employee training. This focused training on best practices will help your company representatives recommend the correct solution in the primary product categories. The primary categories include: residential ramps, stairway lifts, vertical platform lifts, handrails/ grab bars, bathroom remodels, and transfer products—primarily overhead lifts.
HOME SAFETY ASSESSMENT CONSULTANT (HSAC)
HSAC is part of our CEAC program but can be taken as a stand-alone course. This focuses on the home assessment process and explains best practices for performing a professional home safety assessment.
AIDS TO DAILY LIVING SPECIALIST (ADLS)
Designed for retailers who sell aids to daily living supplies and other accessibility items, this credential is available to all VGM Live at Home members. This course is designed for industry professionals to improve their knowledge of products to make accurate recommendations to improve safety, comfort, and environmental access for their customers.
COACHING AND MARKETING GUIDANCE
For new and existing members, we will offer coaching and marketing calls for getting your business started or discussing ways to market your business to improve growth. Members qualify for two 30-minute sessions annually with our industry consultants.
CONNECTION TO HOMELINK WORKERS’ COMP PROGRAM
All LAH members can apply to enter the HOMELINK Workers’ Comp Home Access Program. They handle workers’ comp cases from several carriers and work with members to fulfill claims.
MONTHLY EMAIL DISTRIBUTION
This is the one email LAH members need to open every month. Here, we will share industry insights, spotlight member success stories, introduce new vendors and products, and inform you of all webinars, podcasts, and events.
CONSUMER LEAD PROGRAM
Once you become a VGM Live at Home member, you will be added to our member locator. Being added to our member locator you will be eligible for leads with both consumer and businesses searching for Live at Home members in the markets you serve.
We are building a consumer lead program with the medical community who serves seniors. As the program grows, we will be generating leads to share with our members.
Live at Home Events and Networking
VGM Live at Home offers several in-person and virtual opportunities for home access education and networking.
BUILDING OPPORTUNITIES SUMMIT
This summit is a networking event that takes place in the fall and is specific to home access. The event includes a night of networking and exhibit hall preview followed by two full days of industry-specific content. These two days also allow you to connect with other members and manufacturer partners.
There are two tracks, one for executives and one for installers, to receive training with our manufacturing partners.
BUILDING OPPORTUNITIES INSTALLER SUMMIT
A three- to five-day event where an installer can be factory trained by multiple manufacturers in one place.
