ADVICE TO UPCOMING SENIORS FROM THE CLASS OF 2024

Start writing/applying early, surround yourself with things that make you happy, and work hard to meet all of your goals. -Maddie Bowers (HHS ‘24)

My advice is to take any opportunity you can to learn about different colleges even if you don't think that the college or the tour is for you. -Shasta Winters (HHS ‘24)

My advice for the upcoming UB seniors is to stay encouraged in school with the positivity in making a good future for yourself. Senior year will end up being the toughest year because you just want to get it over with and move on, but don't give up now after everything that you have built for yourself over the last three years! And keep going to UB meetings, they will always be fun and important! All of you have done an amazing job and I am proud of everything that you have accomplished! -Shay Cannon (VHS ‘24)

Get involved in any and every summer academy, college trip, and other activities offered to you. It can allow you to experience new things that can ultimately help you in the future and help you meet many new people, also remember to have fun and enjoy it while it lasts! -Caragan Heath (CHS ‘24)

My only advice to the upcoming seniors is do everything you can for college early. Scholarships are a big one, senior year goes by so fast and you run out of time. -Alove Cole (VHS ‘24) Hard work pays off in the end! -Dexter Barrett (VHS ‘24)

For anyone who is new, or not, I advise everyone to listen to everything that Leigh-Ann and Stacey say Everything that they have informed me about, I have used that information whether it was that week or a year later Anytime I had a question they had an answer for me or would find one So please use the resources they give you! -Abby Gonzalez (CHS ‘24)
