Horticulture Production Career Studies Certificate
This Career Studies Certificate is designed for the student who wishes to gain or improve skills and knowledge in horticulture management. The courses draw on experience from multiple professionals in the field and will have you getting dirty on day one. With online and hybrid options, this program is flexible to meet the needs of working students.
Program Length 1/2 year (1 semester) Transfer Objectives Courses are transferable to other horticulture programs at VHCC and several 4-year universities.

Tuition & Fees At only $162.11 per credit hour, you’ll
save $10K to $22K, in tuition costs alone, by starting at VHCC! Out-of-state students living within a 30-mile radius qualify for in-state tuition.
A native of Southwest Virginia, Ben Casteel brings a passion for the land and culture of Appalachia to the program. With a Master’s degree in Agriculture and Life Science from Virginia Tech, Ben is well versed in the knowledge and skills of agriculture production and natural resource management.
