Agriculture Management Career Studies Certificate

This Career Studies Certificate is designed for the student who wishes to gain or improve skills and knowledge in Agriculture and the management of Agriculture businesses. The courses draw on experience from multiple professionals in the field and will have you getting dirty on day one. With online and hybrid options, this program is flexible to meet the needs of working students.

Program Length 1 year (2 semesters) Transfer Objectives Courses are transferable to other

natural resource programs at VHCC and to many four-year universities.

Tuition & Fees At only $162.11 per credit hour, you’ll

save $10K to $22K, in tuition costs alone, by starting at VHCC! Out-of-state students living within a 30-mile radius qualify for in-state tuition.

As an agriculture based business owner, Ben Casteel developed a passion for helping others to make their agricultural dreams reality. With degrees in agriculture and horticulture from Virginia Tech, Prescott College, and Virginia Highlands, Ben is well versed in the knowledge and skills of Agriculture and Natural Resource Management.
