Applied Music Career Studies Certificate
Can you picture yourself working as a musician? The Applied Music CSC will provide background in music history, composition and performance. You will gain experience in both instrumental and vocal performance. Come make music with us at VHCC!
Program Length 1 year (2 semesters)
Transfer Objectives Gain applied music credits that will transfer to four year music programs.
Is this degree for you? A career studies certificate in music is appropriate for you if you want to further your own musical abilities and knowledge of music and potentially transfer into a four-year music program.
Tuition & Fees At only $162.11 per credit hour, you’ll save $10K to $22K, in tuition costs alone, by starting at VHCC! Out-of-state students living within a 30-mile radius qualify for in-state tuition.
As a lifelong musician, Munsey received her BA in Music Education from Emory and Henry College and her Masters in Music from James Madison University. She has extensive professional experience and encourages all students to endeavor to include many types of music in their journeys.
