Radiography
Associate of Applied Science Degree Radiography is the making of radiographs of internal structures of the body. The Radiography pathway provides training in the art and science of radiologic technology to help you succeed as entry-level radiographers. It also provides a sound foundation toward building a rewarding professional career and an opportunity to qualify as a valued member of the healthcare team. This program will be offered every other year and is offered in cooperation with Southwest Virginia Community College; contact Donna Corns for more information.

hospitals, clinics, urgent care centers, outpatient imaging centers, and other settings.

G3 Eligible This program is G3 eligible. G3 Scholarships cover tuition and fees for Virginia residents of modest income who are pursuing high demand careers.
Tuition & Fees At only $162.11 per credit hour, you’ll
save $10K to $22K, in tuition costs alone, by starting at VHCC! Out-of-state students living within a 30-mile radius qualify for in-state tuition.
Donna Corns has an AAS in Radiography from SWCC/VHCC. She also has a Bachelor of Science in health science with dual concentration in public health and management from Old Dominion University and a Master of Science in occupational and technical studies with a concentration in career and technical studies from ODU.
