Air pollution: It involves the release of substances into the atmosphere that alter its composition and make it harmful to humans, animals or plants. Some of the most polluting substances are: carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide or nitrogen oxide.
The accumulation of gases in the atmosphere also generates environmental problems with sadly well-known consequences: acid rain, depletion of the ozone layer, global warming, the greenhouse effect.
