president’s welcome Welcome to the 38th Annual Castro Street Fair! On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are so glad you can join us. The Castro is by far one of the most dynamic, energizing, and welcoming neighborhoods in our beautiful city by the bay. It’s changed a lot through the years, and we are honored to have been a part of its evolving story. Since Harvey Milk launched the inaugural fair in 1974, we’ve seen a little bit of everything. Through it all, the Castro remains a destination for millions of people from around the world, drawn to its stirring history and vibrant present. Of course, a neighborhood is partly defined by the people who call it home. A special thanks go to all of the fantastic residents and businesses of the neighborhood, as well as to all of you. Please consider yourselves part of our family. The Fair is proud to say we return one hundred percent of the proceeds from the gates back to our community partners: nonprofit organizations who are doing great work for our neighbors, families, and friends. We truly believe in the power of community, and we are so grateful to all of you for your contributions. Many of our community partners have booths in the fair or help at our entrance gates, so please give a big smile to the many amazing volunteers who help this fair happen. It’s going to be a great, fun, busy day -- from the wonderful creativity of the Artists’ Guild to the rollicking entertainment on the Main Stage; from the stompin’ swagger of the Sundance Saloon Country/Western Pavilion to the winning wackiness of Barnaby’s World of Wonderment; from the tasty offerings of our food court to the great products of our hundreds of vendors... Welcome to the Happiest Place in San Francisco! Relax, enjoy, and have a great fair!
Fred Lopez - President, Board of Directors
LOVE FOOL

In addition, when you make a donation at the gate we will give you a sticker that entitles you to $1-off every drink you purchase at one of our Official Beverage Booths. Proceeds from the beverage booths go directly to our beneficiaries as well. his second album as a soloist or with his trio. Darius’ music is fresh, heartfelt and when combined with stage presence is truly a triple threat.
