POSITION: Specialized Brand Manager for Central America & the Caribbean. REPORTS TO: Distributors Manager for Latin America, located in Uruguay. SUMMARY: Work with a dedicated and talented team to make the Vision and Mission of Specialized a reality. Build a strong relationship and positive feeling about Specialized with our distributor, dealers and riders. Submit field reports and advise Specialized and the local distributor of marketing trends, product demands, customer service requirements, and new products. HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE: Advance all aspects of the Specialized brand. Work intimately with the local distributor and retailers to ensure the success of Specialized. Understand the market demand and trends. Connect with riders. Prospect new dealers. Collaborate on company sales forecasts. Assist dealers with in-store merchandising of Specialized product. Maintain in-store display of Specialized products per established guidelines. Educate the distributor, retailer and rider through clinics and events. Attend promotional events, selected races and trade shows to obtain market feedback, assess trends, and promote the Specialized image. Host technical product training events. Offer suggestions on written policies and procedures to ensure we are effective and providing the best service. WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN: Personal drive and determination backed by a positive attitude. A love of the sport of cycling. College Degree or equivalent required, preferably in Business or Marketing. Two (2) years sales experience in a wholesale/distribution environment with knowledge of a specialty sport industry. Product knowledge and expertise. Successful negotiation skills, presentation skills, and public speaking. Excellent organization and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain great relations with customers. Good analytical skills. Self-motivated. Ability to work independently and without close supervision. Computer experience in MS Office. Oracle experience a plus. Fluent in English Must have a valid driver license and clean driving record.
