It's a unique environment dedicated to giving students the self-confidence, skills and strong foundation essential for professional and personal success.

Rider's Engaged Learning Program allows you to combine your academics, career goals and activities to reflect your personality and interests. In fact, every Rider student gains valuable handson experience by completing at least two high-impact Engaged Learning experiences—such as internships, coops, study abroad and guided research— prior to graduation.

Through the Center for Career Development and Success, you’ll work with a dedicated career coach to explore your interests, identify your academic path, secure impressive hands-on experience, and develop job-search skills that ensure you’re prepared to succeed.

The university is confident that a degree from Rider will prepare its students for future success. That’s why, Rider guarantees that students who fulfill the requirements of its Cranberry Investment program will gain an entry-level position or acceptance into a graduate or professional program in their field of study within six months of graduation or the university will provide career coaching and may recommend either nine additional credits of undergraduate coursework in your field of study at no cost or a paid six-month internship.
