Vickey Brooks
I am the owner of Adamson Veterinary Services, and have been in the veterinary industry for 15 years as a research biologist, licensed veterinary technician, hospital manager and veterinarian. I have been living and practicing in Salem for several years. I received my Bachelor's of Liberal Studies degree in biology and education from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia in 1992. I began her animal science career as an intern at the International Crane Foundation in Baraboo, WI studying the life cycle of cranes. I helped raise Siberian cranes, Sandhill cranes, and Whooping cranes for reintroduction into the wild. I left there and worked for the Patuxent Fish and Wildlife center to help raise Texas Bobwhite Quail for reintroduction to the wild in 1993 and work as a research assistant. In 1994 I began a career as a veterinarian assistant and became a licensed veterinary technician in Maryland in 1996. I received her veterinary medicine degree from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in 2003
