A note concerning supplies:

**Students are required to bring a basic supply kit containing pencils, a pencil sharpener, colored markers, colored pencils, crayons, a pair of age appropriate scissors, a glue stick, white glue, and an eraser in addition to supplies supplemented by the Beverly Arts Center.

In any other workshop, if the student is responsible for bringing supplies to the workshop each week, the Supplies Column in the tables below will read “List.” If the BAC provides the supplies for the workshop, the Supplies Column will read “Provided.” Although the Beverly Arts Center does provide supplies for the Adult Glass-fusing workshops, students may supplement these supplies with additional supplies of their own.

ART FOR ADULTS

Our diverse visual arts menu has opportunities for adult artists of all experience levels. Embrace your inner Kahlo or O’Keefe in Art for Adults: Painting, or join us in the Ceramics Studio for Art For Adults: Ceramics where work happens on the potter’s wheel or table, using hand building and wheel throwing techniques. Art for Adults: Fused Glass teaches students to score, cut and arrange glass to create window art, jewelry, bowls, platters, and more. In Art for Adults: Photography, adults will look at the world through a broader lens under the guidance of photographer Rebecca Memoli. This course will focus on the fundamentals of using a digital single lens reflex camera, and the camera’s many functions in order to produce well balanced, properly exposed, successful images.
