Share the Sound with some 35 ton visitors Clipper Vacations brings you Gray Whale Watching from downtown Seattle with a stopover on picturesque Whidbey Island. Gray Whales are magnificent marine mammals reaching up to 50 feet in length and weighing more than 35 tons. Each year, the whales migrate north from Mexico to Alaska with their calves in tow. Knowledgeable naturalists help identify these special creatures as well as the many other marine life and birds living in the Puget Sound area.
