THE QUEEN’S COMMEMORATIVE

The Queen’s Commemorative collection celebrates the life of Queen Elizabeth II.

The design features the iconic crown, surrounded by a spray of flowers, representing England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, along with pine from the gardens of Balmoral and lavender and rosemary (for remembrance), from the grounds of Windsor Castle. The pine, lavender and rosemary were included in the Queen’s memorial service floral arrangement, which was poignantly handselected by King Charles.

A simple message on each item reads ‘Thank you for Everything’. The words of a very wise little Paddington Bear, and a sentiment that is felt around the world.

All of the fine bone china ceramics in the Queen’s Commemorative Collection have been hand-crafted using Cornish clay in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, the heart of the ‘Potteries’.

Using traditional craftsmanship, up to 20 pairs of hands can be involved in making each product. This includes attaching each mug handle skillfully by hand.

All of the textiles are handmade using environmentally friendly water-based inks, ethical supply chains and recyclable materials in Lincolnshire. This includes individually hand sewing woven labels into the seam and hand folding and packing the tea towels into belly bands and applying swing tickets.
