Victorian Building Authority

The Victorian Building Authority (VBA) was established on 1 July 2013 as the statutory agency responsible for regulating the state’s building and plumbing industries. The VBA is enabled under a number of Acts and Regulations and is the successor in law of the former Building Commission and the Plumbing Industry Commission.
