PANORAMA FIVC 3.0 En la tercera edición del Festival Internacional de Videodanza de Chile, FIVC, tendremos la oportunidad de apreciar múltiples propuestas de Videodanza, Cinedanza y Documental , un espacio de producción que se ha ido desarrollando a lo largo de los años y que hoy sigue expandiéndose gracias a la puesta en juego de diversas tecnologías, estrategias narrativas y estéticas. FIVC 3.0 expone una amplia producción de Cinedanza creada principalmente en el continente Europeo, encontrándonos con hermosas obras que se aproximan a las estéticas y narrativas de la producción cinematográfica. Del continente Americano, veremos trabajos que exploran las posibilidades de los medios digitales, incorporan otros lenguajes, proponen reflexiones estéticas sobre el cuerpo y reflexionan acerca de la relación tiempo-espacio a través del tratamiento de imagen y sonido. Por primera vez este Festival presentará piezas Documentales, dos obras de alto valor artístico e histórico en co-producciones de España-Francia y Mali-Italia-Chile, trabajos que fueron seleccionados a través de nuestra convocatoria “FILES”. Una de las características de FIVC 3.0 es la selección de obras que incorporan bailarines “no especializados”. Varias de las piezas recepcionadas en nuestra convocatoria 2012, proponen personajes, historias y ejecutantes que por lo general yacen en los márgenes sociales, ya sea por su condición de raza o clase, o por algún tipo de limitación física o mental. La selección oficial de FIVC 2012 nos da cuenta del importante desarrollo que ha tenido la creación de Videodanza alrededor del mundo, de una producción transcultural e integradora, en la que nacida de la fusión indisoluble del cuerpo y la imagen audiovisual, ha conformado un campo en el que se exploran nuevas experiencias del movimiento, de las narrativas, la imagen y tiempo-espacio / real-virtual-.

PANORAMIC FIVC 3.0
In the third edition of International Videodance Festival of Chile, FIVC, we will have the opportunity to see many proposals of Videodance, Cinedance and Documentary production space that have been developed over the years and today continue to expand through various technologies, narrative and aesthetic strategies. FIVC 3.0 exposes a wide production Cinedance created mainly from the European continent, meeting with beautiful works that approach theaesthetic and narrative film production. Fron the American continent, we will see work exploring the possibilities of digital media, incorporate other languages, offering aesthetic reflections on the body and reflecting the relationship between time-space through image processing and sound. For the first time this piece Documentary Festival will present two works of high artistic and historical value in co-productions with Spain, France and Mali-Italy-Chile, works that were selected through our call "FILES". One of the characteristics of FIVC 3.0 is the selection of works that incorporate unskilled dancers. Several of the pieces recieved in 2012, are stories that performe caracters o historys generally in the social margins, ether by virtue of there race or social class, or some kind of physical or mental limitations . The official selection of 2012 FIVC gives us the important development that has been building around the world Videodance of inclusive cultural production, in which an insoluble fusion born of the body in motion and the visual image, has formed a field in which we explore new body experiences , movement, narrative modes , image and space-time / real-virtual.

Este trabajo retrata la experiencia realizada en Bamako Mali, (África Nor-Oeste) con el Taller MOCT, Movimiento, Creación y Transformación, en la Asociacion por la Defensa y los Derechos de las Mujeres APDF. Dicho taller, a través de la danza, busca mejorar la auto-estima en mujeres víctimas violencia de género. En esta ocasión el taller se planteó como un trabajo con mujeres que trabajan en APDF atendiendo otras mujeres, que recurren a ellas. De esta forma MOCT, contribuyó a que las participantes pudieran adquirir herramientas de acogida y reparación nuevas, que si bien están pensadas para que las empleen con las mujeres que atienden, también se transformó en un taller para ellas mismas, que vivenciaron como un proceso personal de reconocimiento, auto-valoración y autocuidado a través del cuerpo en movimiento.
“MO.C.T. Bamako” This work portrays the experience in Bamako Mali, (Northwest Africa) with the MOCT Workshop, Movement, Creation and Transformation in the Association for the Defence and Women's Rights APDF. The workshop, through dance, seeks to improve self-esteem in female victims of gender violence. his time the workshop was planned as a work with women in APDF taking other women, who use them. Thus MOCT, helped the participants to acquire tools and repair new host, although they are intended for the use with the women they serve, also became a workshop for themselves, who experienced a personal process recognition, self-worth and self through the body in motion.
