The idea is to make one pass through the series of space which seems extrovert but eventually leads to the core space which is enclosed in and introvert.

Residential/work Studio for a population in Motion The area which is darkened is a public area. It has kitchen ,living and dining. This area is very much connected to the outside.

Now squeezing that diagram as the container is the constraint,Extrovert spaces are more approachable as there are many punctures. On the contrary introvert space has is very enclosed and compact.

Dividing the upper diagram into two parts Extrovert and Introvert, this diagram comes.

1)RESIDENTIAL/ WORK STUDIO FOR A POPULATION IN MOTION

This is a private area ,which has study and bathroom. This area is comparatively close as it has only one opening. Although there is a skylight .

Getting into the shape of the container this diagram comes. A Strong datum segregates the private and public space.

Bathroom has been kept at the end which has the utmost privacy. Light and ventilation happens by the glass above.

Instructor-Prof.Hetal Shah ThE curve is simplified here.

Living small yet living it all This exercises main aim was to create a living space for self in a container. The idea was to design a space for by analyzing your lifestyle and understanding your own personalty. This was done by graphical representation of oneself through diagrams. The container is primarily used for industrial purpose and made of recycled metal. This Container is above the canal which is supported by wooden framework. The Approach to the container from the road is through a metal fabricated stair which 1.0 m wide. House is a domain that is intimate to all of us. Beyond its every day function as a physical shelter for people and their activities ,it connects with user on a personal and emotional level. The modern day scenario of environmental and financial concerns along with the desire to have more freedom has led people to follow simple and efficient way of living.

MUSEUM FOR INDIAN CLASSICAL INSTRUMENTS The project was to build a museum for Indian classical instrument in Sevasi Stepwell Without disturbing existing structure.

Light: As the Depth of the step-well increases, Intensity of the light perforating decreases.

Sound: Echo increases as we go down the step-well. Performance area has been kept where we get the least echo and the best sound as well as the maximum area for the audience.

Space: The step-well has a very strong and static grid and linear axis which directs to the well. A hierarchy in the volume has been observed as you move toward the well. Concept

The well is also experienced as a light shaft and that the experience of light has been repeated with different volumes in hierarchy. Repetition of light well increases the dynamism of the exhibition area. Addition of mezzanine at different levels adds dynamism to the static column grid which is existing.

Victorinox knife manufacturer based in the town of ibach, in the canton of schwyz, Switzerland. It is well known for its Swiss army knives. Swiss made kitchen knife are not typically forged. They are stamped out of stainless steel and then fixed to a variety of handle styles. Typically very inexpensive however good bang for the buck. Because they are not a forged knife, the steel is very soft which means they are very easy to sharpen but do not hold an edge for very long.

I have expressed the sharpness and at the same time softness of steel in grid and organic forms. How? Like the blade of the knife, the existing structure is strong and rigid. But when you use the knife you could feel the flexibility( because of the softness of the steel) which is shown through the space .The space has a very organic feel and in addition is also based on a hidden grid .

Here airbnb act as a mediator. Here every thing connects to the core which is airbnb. A’

Airbnb invented the idea of the sharing economy that people could use the property and assets. They own and rent them out and share them with others. Airbnb is the easiest way for people to monetize their extra space and showcase it to an audience of millions.

Ghashiram Kotwal is a Marathi play written by playwright Vijay Tendulkar in 1972 as a response to the rise of a local political party, in Maharashtra. The play is a political satire, written as historical drama. The addition of the music heightens the emotion and evokes the atmosphere. Here the music was used to develop a character and advance the plot without even using the words and just by increasing or decreasing the rhythm of the music.

STAGE DESIGN

Taking rhythm in architectural sense, repetition of an element in regular or irregular intervals could be used. For example levels could be created on certain heights and rhythmically repeated. Placement of a column could also be rhythmic. Ghashiram the character became very vulnerable. Vulnerable is a state where you are exposed to the possibility of being attacked or harmed physically or emotionally. Taking the word vulnerable as a metaphor, an element which is changeable, or portable could be used. A column or a furniture which is could be used as per the scene requirement can change and move accordingly. A partition wall which could be used for multiple purpose.

Street scape plays an important role in defying quality public space by guiding and engaging the user. In the given context which is city of Vadodara,we see a dire need of optimal solutions to revitalize public spaces in a sustainable manner. One Such solution would be utilize the available scrap with the VMC (Vadodara Municipal Corporation)And the creative pool of Architects and designers to create something useful and meaningful and continuing the spirit of Vadodara in terms of value addition to the city. Design Proposal For the city(Vadodara) that gets its name from trees - “Vad”, the trees and spaces around it form fond childhood memories for us - playing beneath them, sitting and sharing food, story telling, picnics, and so much more from a quieter time of the city. We try to bring back the life beneath the trees of the city. Street Movement

Rebuild the Ruins The character of the ruin within the landscape can be a fascinating element. Broken abandoned space is bodily achieved of dying vernacular architecture in the collective imagination. Installation redefines space by introducing material that reflects the surrounding – the life around (housing, local, spectator ). Before the Dhal ni Pol Festival ‘19, this space was a neglected parking spot where residents dumped their household waste and saw it merely as a passage between a cluster of houses and the Pol’s central plaza. As part of the Heritage Festival in Dhal Ni Pol, first set of interventions focused our attention in revitalizing several plazas and chowks through that action called STREET ART. For that purpose, we mapped the most influential areas considering the visibility of the walls, their area, and the presence of chowk or spaces extension/intersection. After having the collection of 10 walls data (elevations, existing condition and location), we consulted the local neighbours about the viability of the implementation. The concept was to use the long and rich history of animal symbolism, their moral associations for a wide range of creatures, in Indian culture and art to muddy the message of the painting.
