San Joaquin Valley Energy Leader Partnership (VIEW) ties back to benchmarking because it is through that effort that we can discover what areas/facilities need special attention. All partners were encouraged to get their utility data back to Maureen as soon as possible so she can continue to assist everyone with their benchmarking efforts. Paulo Morais asked how it was communicated to members of a jurisdiction that upon tier level advancement they are eligible for a higher incentive. This is an opportunity to highlight energy efficiency and to let the community know what jurisdictions are up to. Courtney suggested putting together a press release with Local Public Affairs and working directly with the jurisdiction to tailor an approach that works best for them. Hammad agreed saying that Paulo is suggesting revisiting projects that maybe did not make sense in the past but now might be more sensible with the increased incentive. It was decided to work offline for the specifics of this process. Mark Okino explained to City of Farmersville guests how the tier level structure works. Paulo added that So Cal Gas does not have same tier structure but does offer technical support. Energy Savings Goals Mark Okino reported that a new system is in place for SCE and will have an updated list at the next meeting. If jurisdictions have any projects please make sure to submit paperwork because tier updates are made on a quarterly basis. In the case of the County of Tulare project with Fluoresco, Courtney will have Mike Nemeth connect with Gail Henry next week. Paulo Morais said he is still working on picking up on where Frank Lauro left off in terms of identifying gas projects to get to the goal of 125,000 therms. He also noted that if the program goes into the extension period he will help to provide language in support of the Gas Company continuing in the partnership. Courtney provided an update on the EECBG projects saying the only one being held back is the City of Lindsay pumping project. There is concern about doing the project in the summer as opposed to a nonhigh use time of year so there will need to be discussions, and possibly an in-person visit, with the City to help move things forward. Marketing and Outreach Report Maureen gave a brief report from the earlier Marketing Taskforce Meeting while Courtney passed around the new VIEW keyboard calendars. Solar Projects Mark Okino introduced Eugene Sedeno who gave a presentation on providing assistance to customers interested in solar. Eugene explained that there is no charge to receive an analysis as long as an agreement hasn’t been signed with someone else. He explained in detail the questions one should ask when looking to implement a solar project. John Doyel asked about a specific submission for analysis from the City of Hanford but Eugene needed to take a second look. Other Business Bill Delain reported on a few meetings he recently attended where he provided information on the role of the partnership, its direction, and areas for collaboration. 2011 Meeting Schedule: August 4, 2011; September 1, 2011; October 6, 2011; November 3, 2011; December 1, 2011

Courtney recapped the Cool Center program discussion that was had in the Marketing Taskforce meeting, saying she and Maureen will be working with Jeannie Harrell from SCE to further promote the centers.
