San Joaquin Valley Partnership Program February 2014 Focus: San Joaquin Valley kWh and peak kW reductions This Month’s Major Accomplishments: • SJVCEO Executive Director, Courtney Kalashian, met with Laurel Rothschild from the Energy Coalition to discuss Peer to Peer initiatives. • SJVCEO Executive Director, Courtney Kalashian, reviewed Direct Install efforts and successes in preparation of the 2014 program roll out. • SJVCEO Project Analyst, Sarah Farell, was promoted to Program Administrator. She will take on new responsibilities with the VIEW Partnership and with non-‐utility grants. • Implementing Partner joined a Peer to Peer conference call to plan the in person meeting at the 5th annual SEEC Conference in San Diego in June. Key Issues or Emerging Concerns: • Implementing partner continued efforts to obtain necessary documents for SCE’s Direct Install program and corresponded with local governments regarding their needs to have Direct Install contractors on site. • Implementing partner communicated with SCG Program Manager about missing and incorrect Gas Company accounts and information for VIEW jurisdictions. • Implementing partner determined and identified actions needed to fix the VIEW Partnership website, which went down on the evening of February 12, 2014. Upcoming Milestones • The next monthly Partnership meeting will be March 20, 2014. • The Implementing Partner will meet with all utilities in March to discuss building an Energy Lounge in the City of Visalia’s Public Library.
