San Joaquin Valley Partnership Program April 2014 Focus: San Joaquin Valley kWh and peak kW reductions This Month’s Major Accomplishments: • The Implementing Partner made efforts to coordinate Direct Install “street teams” with local elected officials and existing partnership efforts in support of SCE’s Direct Install Program. • SJVCEO Executive Director, Courtney Kalashian, conducted onsite research in Earlimart for SCE Direct Install door to door campaign. • SJVCEO Executive Director, Courtney Kalashian, attended the SCE Executive Customer breakfast in Tulare. • SJVCEO Executive Director, Courtney Kalashian, supported efforts to coordinate small business outreach under the SCE Direct Install Program. • SJVCEO Executive Director, Courtney Kalashian, attended the joint IOU event “Building a More Energy Efficient Future: A National Perspective” in San Francisco. • SJVCEO Program Administrator, Sarah Farell, began scrubbing energy usage data for all VIEW jurisdictional partners in order to successfully submit 2014 CISR forms to SCE. Key Issues or Emerging Concerns: • There is still concern regarding SCE projects and ELP progress in the City of Visalia. • SJVCEO Program Administrator, Sarah Farell, monitored accounts and the data exchange process for the City of Farmersville on Energy Star Portfolio Manager. This process has taken several months to iron out because of the new version of ESPM and consequential issues with the Automated Benchmarking System. Upcoming Milestones • The quarterly VIEW Partnership event will take place May 15th at the Visalia Campus of Fresno Pacific University. • The partnership will have a booth at the County of Kings Employee Recognition BBQ on May 6th. • The partnership will have a booth at the City of Visalia Earth Day Event on May 3rd. • The implementing partner corresponded with the Statewide LG EE Coordinator regarding future VIEW rural community outreach events.
