San Joaquin Valley Partnership Program July 2015 Focus: San Joaquin Valley kWh and peak kW reductions This Month’s Major Accomplishments: • The monthly VIEW Partnership meeting was held on July 16th at the Tulare County RMA Plaza in Visalia. • SJVCEO Executive Director Courtney Kalashian met with SCE and the Cities of Tulare, Porterville, Visalia and the County of Kings to discuss and identify open energy savings projects and projects under the Sustainable Energy Roadmap. • SJVCEO Executive Director Courtney Kalashian met with the City of Farmersville to discuss implementing YGREEN and HERO programs. • Implementing Partner participated in Local Government Partnerships Peer to Peer conference calls and in-‐person meetings to discuss billing issues, data procurement, and other topics. • Implementing Partner met with the CEC to review and discuss the CEC/SCE SJV Distributed Energy Resource Pilot Study. • SJVCEO Program Administrator Sarah Farell worked with the City of Visalia to fix SCE and SCG benchmarking issues, including data overlaps and gaps, on Portfolio Manager. • SJVCEO Program Administrator Samantha Dodero participated in the SCE Contractors’ Workshop in Oxnard. • SJVCEO Program Administrator Samantha Dodero conducted online outreach to potential Kill-‐A-‐ Watt Krackdown participants. She is continuing to work with registered participants of the challenge on benchmarking and EE projects. • SJVCEO Program Administrator Samantha Dodero communicated with the County of Kings and Synergy about the Mobil Home Direct Install program and developed flyers for residents. Key Issues or Emerging Concerns: • Implementing partner will be meeting with Jeff Lawler and Becky Estrella from SCG to discuss SCG benchmarking for VIEW, challenges SJVCEO has faced and how to move forward. Upcoming Milestones • There will be no VIEW Partnership meeting in August. The next meeting will be held on September 17th at Tulare County’s RMA Plaza in Visalia.
