hello....!
kvraterd3595@gmail.com 8838962940 school of architecture and planning ANNA UNIVERSITY chennai no 77, k g palayam koundachi palayam, erode tamil nadu - 638112.
I am vignesh raja, completed my bachelor degree of architecture in 2017, It was a very interesting journey though, the transition from frisky school kid to the complete professional architect. during my college days I always dreamt of my design coming true and facing the reality as well. as we are the master collaborator we holds certain responsibilities in our society, to end the great war between the nature and the man made, which I perceive architecture plays the key line between them. We all know that architecture alone cannot change the world, but there is no change without it. for which I would like to learn all the possible nuances in the feild of architecture, which will comes true by joining your firm and develope symbiotically.

pyroform - unravelling the experience of FIRE
In order to establish the relation between HUMAN and FIRE through Architecture, exploring the possibilities of fire and its role in cultural, social, spiritual, biological and emotional values of human was essential. The understanding of its relation with human life through birth and death helps in converting these metaphysical attributes into Architecture. The intention was to create an integrated and soulful experience of fire, by giving the form to the formless. The idea of emphasizing fire as another natural entity which is considered as the form of purity and the key to attaining eternity.

CHENNAI
Chennai, formerly called as Madras, boasts a long history. The modern city of "Chennai" arose from the British settlement of Fort St. George and its subsequent expansion through merging numerous native villages and settlements. Initially, the city limits was only above the Adyar river. The Mount road was laid for the use of European employees of the British East India Company to travel from the factory at Fort St George to the holy town of St Thomas Mount where the St Thomas was crucified. This infrastructure development marks a great importance and influence in the city’s expansion. Guindy was initially developed as recreational area because of it being in the outskirts and rich in green spaces. Open green space available right next to the city limits with addition to the two major roads abutting Guindy. Good system of transportation that was available,(ie) the Port in 10km radius, the Airport in 4km Radius and a Rail system that has its major station at Guindy.

Levatio Nidus - a sneak peek of ideal city in 5026
next
21st century has led to the case of increased exploitation of our canvas by the discretionary acts of the singular human species. Age of sustainability and smart development has reached the height of all. Despite sustenance as the core element of progress humans have never considered the environment inclusive of other organisms. Carbon footprint reduction as the policy and constant sustenance for revival of resources has only prolonged our survival expectancy but not improved its status.

Urban lakes - the social awareness
Lakes are abundant in number and gradually falling prey to the effects of urbanisation. Environmental Activism can save such lakes. The city grew between the ridges and creeks that latticed at the mouth of the coast. the pockets of water that pooled around the course of river were soon neglected, ignorant of its relevance. Chennai is the capital of Tamil Nadu, the fourth largest metropolis in India located on the Coromandal coast of Bay of Bengal. The Chennai city has a population of Four million, Six hundred Eighty-one thousand, Eightyseven (approx). Urbanization in Chennai city takes place rapidly in southern suburban areas, particularly in infrastructure development, sitting of software parks, medium scale industries and laying of major road networks. However, time deficiencies in regulation of development process caused further degradation of the environment and pose concerns for water quality and community health. The intention is to bring people together from varied backgrounds and create a new dialogue on water and rivers, by changing mindsets and encourage action for change.

Madras city planned by the british was bordered by the adyar river, Cooum was treated as the major waterway around which systematic growth occured. The adyar river is presently prone to rapid densified urbanisation that is deteriorating its roots and its being. The course of the river largely affected is along the juncture of Guindy, Velachery and Adyar. Its Canals are cut off by densified urbanisation due to several factors. The Lakes at the vicinity of this juncture are soon reaching nil.

And So has Chennai, forgotten its roots and spines that convene its growth. During my college days I had a special interest towards the documentation of historically important buildings which helps me in better understanding about scale, proportion, and ancient construction techniques and details,. Thus I have been a part of LOUIS KHAN TEAM (LIK TROPHY) in my college conducted by NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STUDENTS OF ARCHITECTURE (NASA). I have also been a part of documentation team during my internship, where we worked extensively in site to document and replicate the existing structure for conservation and future references.

Stepwells of Ahmedabad gujarat
07
We have observed the various stepwells that are integral to our heritage. Some are relatively better preserved, but there is still scope for improvement. Others are inhabited and used in ways that is different from the original function of the stepwell and some are in absolute shambles. This leaves us all with important questions regarding the conservation and heritage of these stepwells for the future.........
