INTERNSHIP PROJECTS PROPOSAL FOR NATIONAL WAR MEMORIAL Wars leave a huge impact on any country with respect to economy, growth or on human grounds. India has seen 5 major wars since its formation as a country along with numerous other peace-keeping missions carried from time to time. We have lost precious lives of about 25,000 brave soldiers in these missions which have left scars on the face of this country that may never be healed. Through this design scheme, we are commemorating these brave hearts through a symbolic representation of wars as SCARS on the face of earth.
INTRODUCTION
CONCEPT AND EVOLUTION
SECTIONAL IMPRESSIONS
PARAMETRIC ART COLLECTION Parametric Art Collection 2017 collates a broad range of unique and exclusively designed art objects articulated as furniture and spatial enhancers. As fragmented curves bind together and form endlessly fluid surfaces, each object unveils a dynamic story to represent one’s lifestyle in a unique way, blending into any orthogonal or organic space. Each piece is carefully designed as visually sculpted monoliths or contoured morphologies in a multitude of joinery techniques and finishes.
The collection demonstrates the use of mathematically driven algorithms that transform the orthogonal nature of contemporary furniture or art into fluid forms and curvilinear morphologies. These algorithms have been used to generate formal sculptures that are then constructed from digitally formed timber profiles and painted in weather-resistant polyurethane coating, among other finishing alternatives. These objects emerge as visually-sculpted art-forms and can be finished in any colour in accordance with the adjacency. The design collection 2017 is launched with twenty exclusive pieces segmented into five generic categories – Stools, Chairs, Benches, Tables and Lighting.

rat[LAB] Workshops ABOUT : rat[LAB] has been a pioneer in reforming the quality of architecture education in India. rat[LAB]’s initiative named rat[LAB] education is responsible for organising countless workshops throughout the country ,educating numerous students on the intricacies of computational and paramteric design.
UNDERGRADUATE PROJECTS MUSEUM OF NATIONAL HISTORY The project was an ardent realisation of the reality of museums in INDIA.The presence of magnificent structures as an exhibition space is something our city hasn’t responded to accordingly. The recent mishappenings with the Museum of Natural History,New Delhi is also a part of the reason i had chosen this site to remap our relics and provide them a home and the cultural importance they deserve.
Creating corners and parts in accordance to the wind direction
Starting off with a rectilinear built space as a basic modulefor designing
Jutting and denting of the structure in accordance to the sun path
Finally creating openings in accordance to both the aforementioned factors and a central courtyard acting as a transition space
URBAN DESIGN,ITO THE CHALLENGE
THE OPPURTUNITIES
ITO Area is a major thoroughfare as well as destination for the city and therefore functionally significant.About 80% of the traffic passing through this area is not destined to ITO
-ITO complex is a major public transport interchange -Public transit hubs that enables users to change various modes and direction at ITO -Location of 2 metro stations, 1 ring railway station & the BRT Corridor, makes most of the area falls under the 500mts MRTS corridor “influence zone
-Heavy through traffic -Lack of adequate number of bridges acorss yamuna causes traffic to concentrate only on a few Arterials creating severe congestion points.
