Bachelor Project
This is a project for a new kindergarten in Fredericia, Denmark. The new building will turn the neighborhood into a more modern and practical area.

The building is designed as 4 units one unit for kids between 0-3 age where there is also a big bedroom, one unit for bigger kids between 3-6 age and the fourth unit is for production kitchen and storages. The units are connected by the common area in between and all covered with one flat roof. It provides a flexible expandability of the 4 units separately depending on future needs. In connection with the conversion and / or extension, each house could be rebuilt separately independent of the building's load-bearing structures. The building is provided with hybrid ventilation - mechanical with a ventilation unit placed in the technical room, and natural ventilation through the windows. There is an under-floor heating system in the kids’ units, resulting in a more optimal heat distribution and at the same time it is low temperature equipment, which allows for the later connection with geothermal system for example.

The semester project was to renovate and restore the main entrance building of the existing prison situated in Horsens, Denmark. The structure was a historically listed site with a 150-year-old history, so our team decided to keep the original exterior but improve the interior and replace all the structures that were ruined by moisture, rot and decay. We completely redesigned the interior, working from the bottom up. We used steel structure of prefabricated elements. Using this steel structure as a skeleton for the building we built 7 "glass boxes" divided into 2 zones, one area for workers and another area for visitors.

19/20 Using the corten steel was our style. We bring this accent also outside the building. Creating the lounge and cafe area in the backyard of the entrance building using corten steel in the flower pots, benches and bike racks was our little touch to make our design and style finished. The outside part of the cafe is a totally new element in the museum complex. Situated between the main entrance building and the museum building, the cafe should serve for all visitors and workers. Also there is the place where we create the lounge zones for visitors, where all people can use the bicycles parking. This area can be reached as entering through the main entrance of the building or by using the left side entering directly. The idea of these "glass boxes" was: 1) an easy way to control the heating inside the building, with the chosen glass we provide good insulation inside the box; 2) keep within the spirit of the building, with keeping the outline of the old typical bricks. What was the challenge? - This was the first time any of us had worked with a historically listed building. We do many site visits so we can survey the conditions- both internally and externally.

Multy-Story building at Sønd
debrogade - Horsens, Denmark
21/22
In this semester project we had the task to create a new residential buildings in Sønderbrogade in Horsens, Denmark. In order to fulfil the client and community requirements we had to take in consideration the surrounding buildings in the neighborhood, using brick as a main material and create a new contemporary design.

The idea of 6 individual buildings of 4 story each came up after several options, where we need to fit 48 different apartments. Splitting the buildings in to two parts with 3 building in each side, create an open space in between when the common public area was design with greenery and playground. The hidden underground parking fully covered with the ground dig during the construction was totally reuse in the green roof terrace used as also as a common space and naturally continuous from the main street. Another client requirements was creating an office and store area in the ground floor level in some of the buildings. We picked the 2 middle buildings and design them a bit differently from the rest, with office and store on the ground floor and penthouse with skylight on the top level. Using a lot of corner windows was our tricky detail, once from construction point of view and secondly for attractive and modern accent.

Location: Plovdiv, Bulgaria Project Type: Volunteering project Level of the project: Summer, 2012 "The Circle" This is the name we gave to our installation which participated in the architectural competition in Plovdiv, Bulgaria in the summer of 2012. It is positioned in the space next to the eastern wall of the mosque ’’Dzhumaya’’ and the pedestrian street leading to the Main Street. The main tasks of the project were to come up with a proposal that has functionality and solves architectural problems and not to be just for decoration. At the same time the proposal had to be an adequate solution for the area itself.

Our intention in the assignment is subject to tolerance and is dictated by the proximity to one of the religious buildings in Plovdiv - Dzhumaya Mosque. So we got inspired from symbols of the major religions in the city - Christianity, Islam and Judaism. The circle represents a unifying element in this case. The installation has a wooden structure that runs along the existing four sites, thus forming a kind of round four parts. The ending is a vertical wall with a height of 2.20 meters, which appears as a "backup" of the composition and location for screenings and a stage for street performers. The wooden structure overcomes the difference in levels of sites in the park, forming a stepped seating.

Holiday Village Malo Buch
hino - Sofia, Bulgaria
35/36 The idea of the project was to build a new holiday village in Malo Buchino, Sofia region, Bulgaria. The new complex should consist of 3 different types of residential buildings - single family houses with private courtyards, semidetached houses and residential blocks. Access to the terrain is arranged through the main existing road, where 2 control cabins were placed - one from the north and one from the south. Our task was to create a new road network inside the site. When creating that we should take into consideration the existing slope of the terrain. Another client requirement was that the new village will be provided with public buildings such as medical center, kindergarten and restaurant. In my proposal I arranged that in the middle of the site where all people can meet and create small social life. Greenery and water effect was created in between the different parcels, pedestrian and bicycle lanes which lead you through the terrain to the center of the new village the center of the new village.
