IJ Plein square Amsterdam Noord, NL Academie van Bouwkunst
Respecting the history and already built neighborhood from Rem Koolhaas, our task is to bring new life to the IJplein square. After analyzing the site the fascination for the design comes. As we know, Dutch people are famous for often changing the purpose and use of a landscape to meet different needs.
5
6
7
Multiple function The new neighborhood will have twelve same sized boxes. The boxes are 5 x 5 m^2 big. The material used is wooden cladding and semi – shaded glass facades. The main idea of the design is that on the outside, the cubes look all the same, but inside they have different functions. The cubes would be easily constructed and deconstructed. The reason behind is that they can be fast placed on the site, but can also be replaced, moved or removed, so that the site is transformed to its original view. The temporary use will bring dynamics to the square, as well as diversity and flexibility to the users. Some of the functions the boxes can have are: rental space for offices, playgrounds for kids, common kitchen area for the residents, semi – open air cinema, art gallery, etc. The position of the cubes placed in the new land will remind of the surrounding housing – urban villas. The cubes have direct view to the Ij river and the old part of Amsterdam.
8
Function All of the boxes will be placed on site to serve the needs of users. The same-sized cubes will create a pleasant surrounding to stay.
Circulation The new steps in the water will be used from pedestrians and will give a solution to the mixed usage of the square at the moment.
Greenery The new steps in the water will be used from pedestrians and will give a solution to the mixed usage of the square at the moment.
Water Two new stripes of water will be bring into the site. This will create closer interaction with the water. It will reminds the past and creating a polders. New stairs will be playing a role as a connection with the Ij River.

Villa Hilversum, NL Academie van Bouwkunst
EARTH. WATER. AIR. FIRE. Inspired from the surrounded nature, this villa in an open land near Hilversum, collects in all four nature elements. Fully opened structure from glass facades bring a lot of light in the living areas. Using the existing water appearance on site, a glass bridge above it connects the entrance and kitchen zone with the living, private zones of the villa. As a main constructive element, rammed earthen walls, almost as a piece of art standing for themselves, keeps the roof structure on place. What makes this villa so unique is of course how all the presence elements on site makes the building functioning perfectly one-another.

Chapel Jonas DaniĂŤl Meijerplein , Amsterdam , NL Academie van Bouwkunst
The building of the new chapel has a circular shape as it is in tolerance for all religions in the area – the old Jewish neighborhood with the Jewish Historical museum in the other side of the plot and the Portuguese synagogue right next to it. The building is again focused on the elaboration of design and structure in one. As a main constructive elements are working a prefabricated concrete walls, polished from the inner side to capture and reflect the entering nature light through the glass stripes on the ceiling. Wooden battens cover all outside surface of the building and helped for the smooth appearance of the volume.

The circle Workshop, Plovdiv , BG First Architectural Forum
This is the name we gave to our installation which participated in the architectural competition in Plovdiv, Bulgaria in the summer of 2012. It is positioned in the space next to the eastern wall of the mosque "Dzhumaya" and the pedestrian street leading to the main street. The main tasks of the project was to come up with a proposal that has functionality and solves architectural problems and not to be just for decoration. At the same time the proposal had to be an adequate solution for the area itself. Our intention in the assignment is subject to tolerance and is dictated by the proximity to one of the religious buildings in PlovdivDzhumaya Mosque. So we got inspired from symbols of the major religions in the city Christianity, Islam and Judaism. The circle turns and unifying element in this case. The installation has wooden structure that runs along the existing four sites, thus forming a kind of round four parts. The ending is a vertical wall with a height of 2.20 meters, which appears as a "backup" of the composition and location for screenings and a stage for street performers. The wooden structure overcomes the difference in levels of sites in the park, forming a stepped seating. 43
