Dear Reader
In these darkening days, our minds always turn to those things we're grateful for. The turning of the leaves, the rain that keeps this place so lush and green, and friends and family coming home to share stories of their many summertime adventures. Here at Village Books & Paper Dreams, we find reasons to be thankful every day. Truly. Each day we look for opportunities to make someone's day in large and small ways, and each day, those efforts are returned in kind. Our day's-end digests that we share amongst staff tell these stories. From the unexpected connections we witness to the quirky, whimsical, and wise phrases that arise from conversations... from the occasions that are celebrated within our walls to long lengths we go to in order to find that perfect gift. We even have a dog of the day—often many! So, dear reader, thank you for coming – Paul, Kelly, Sarahthrough our doors and making every day a day worth celebrating. and the Entire Village Books and Paper Dreams Family
